That's a personal theory of mine, and I could be completely wrong of course, but's I think worth pondering this as a possibility. Because I do find those two stories a bit suspect in retrospect. Snitching Redditors to Reddit, sometimes snitching them to LE. Reddit is the perfect place for someone who, once they started snitching, felt so good about it that they couldn't bring themselves to stop and had to seek out that rewarding feeling of moral superiority again and again.

As I pointed out above, Bardfinn has privated his Twitter account full of lies and fabrications, but that's OK because I archived the tweet I wanted to bring to your attention, which is the following (this is from a thread where Bardfinn described all the sociopaths he has "survived" in his life, excluding himself of course because he's just everyone else's victim, no one is ever a victim of him):
Assuming this story about Barfinn turning in a domestic terrorist is true (and we can't be sure of anything with a pathological liar like Bardfinn), I hereby propose we ponder this snitching instance in the context of Bardfinn's many plea bargains. Let me explain why.
This tweet is quite reminiscent, in a structural sense, of this other story of his on Reddit, where Bardfinn claimed that he had supposedly discovered a fellow employee sharing CP on a corporate network via Limewire (a file-sharing program that was popular at the time), and Bardfinn being the upstanding respectable citizen he is (LMAO), he immediately cooperated with the FBI in getting that pedo-colleague arrested. In fact, the investigation put such a strain on his relationship with his first wife M. (the wife from the time of the assault involving a deadly weapon, mind you), it was too much for their marriage (as if his DW assault wasn't what actually wrecked that marriage):
You might notice how in each one of these two stories, Bardfinn (himself a recidivist criminal, but he never tells you that part) catches an even greater criminal than himself committing a crime far greater than any of Bardfinn's own (domestic terrorism in the one story, sharing online CP at work in the other), and immediately does the right thing and turns the bigger fish in. Would you pat him on the head for helping catch not only the evil Reddit Natsees but corporate pedos and even domestic terrorists as well!
...but what if Bardfinn wasn't actually so upstanding and forthcoming in turning in the criminals whose path his own criminal career had crossed, and was in reality perhaps compelled to snitch on his fellow criminals in the context of a plea deal?
If Bardfinn has snitched on any of his fellow criminals (again, IF) I wonder whether this is the source of his other bullshit story about how he was "trained to be a spy". Perhaps (again, I am speculating here, I have no idea what actually happened) Bardfinn had agreed to participate in a drug sting in the context of a plea deal, and this experience made him feel "kinda-sorta like a spy" (read: important and centered), so he began to fantasize about what could've should've been, had he not been a drug addicted violent criminal, but instead a suave highly sophisticated CIA spy in East Germany, and then once he trooned out, Bardfin worked this spy novel fantasy into the fake backstory of his "Penny Oaken" alter-ego, the #WomenInSTEM retired computer scientist who is a 30 year veteranBATF snitchNatsee/pedo/terrorist hunter. It's "James Bond but make it trans".

I don't know about that. Through my job I met couple of PhDs and some of them were really... exceptional people. One woman I met had similar lifestory to this Bradfinn speaks about. She had alcoholic father, get out of house quickly, married early and divorced early, then get into relationship with dude 20 years older and left him because he's becoming too old (yes, really).

From what I've heard, it's near impossible to get diagnosed once you're an adult because specialists are only used to working with children, and there's no way a 46 year old got diagnosed as a kid. Given his track record about lying about shit like being intersex to sound cooler than he is, I'm guessing he's one of those SJWs who self-diagnose themselves with autism because they didn't understand sarcasm this one time or something and because labels are cruise control for cool.
