Carolina Wren.

I have a pair of these little shitburglars nesting in the wheelwell of my camper right now - unfortunately my work schedule keeps me from having adequate lighting to take a decent picture, plus I don't want to disturb them.

if you're putting them up for free they can deal with being mildly annoyed.

May as well throw out my result for the bird quiz.

I relate to its apathetic expression so much.

yeah I'm basically for owls like Jace was for wolves
they can be tactical and realistic ninjas of the air, they can just hang out and give no fucks, they can be cute (and still kill the fuck out of shit)
like my old Burrowing Owl story
back when I lived with my parents one time some burrowing owls made a nest in front of the house
I was all "dawwwww cute owls"
then I saw the day one of them had killed something, dragged it to the front of their burrow, and made the dead body its new perch
I was all "uhh. damn, brah."

Owls are chill and realistic, where I live I hear and occasionally see great horned owls and my sister sent me some cool pics of a barred owl pair that lives near here.

They're like bird cats
