Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Yeah, then he turned hardcore against it later in his 20s or so iirc.
They never outright banned it but they used existing laws to restrict what was available and how much, banned smoking in parliament offices and public transpo, and he was leaning toward banning tobacco use in the military by the end of the war but he got preoccupied with the whole "getting his shit wrecked" thing.
Just seems oddly familiar to the approach Biden is taking. "Oh no no it won't be an up front ban it will be a phase out" "we won't be arresting individual consumers, just stopping the product from reaching the market" "think of the kids"
I personally don't care enough about what flavor of smoke people are using to kill themselves slowly but it's hilarious to me that people who called Trump a nazi for such egregious actions as banning travel from terrorist training grounds are all supportive of this shit because, as always Orange Man Bad

Scott is mid tier GOP but he's better at reading the wind than others. He didn't like Trump but knew he could get what he wanted and wouldn't be deliberately antagonistic to him like Romney. He's like Graham in that sense. There's a black congressman from Florida, Byron Donalds, who is much more MAGA and even voted to object to Arizona and Pennsylvania getting their rigged votes counted.

that's becoming a huge issue China is buying up Considerable amounts of U.S. businesses. They pop the 2nd largest in the US they also own one of the largest movie theater chains as well. If I remember correctly they're partnered with video game industries in the US. And of course they treat their workers like they treat they own people

What is more concerning is China buying off politicians as the country continues to turn into a crypto-feudalist state where oligarchs and foreign nationals choke out any independent business. A global economic collapse might actually be preferable to that fate.

As a person that was logged off since Tuesday and having to get a vaccine for myself because of my family’s history with pre-conditions I can honestly say that Joe Biden not knowing how to do his own mask guidelines properly while Dr. Fauci pretends to still think that the CDC is legitimate in any form regarding the “trust in science” is really insulting my intelligence right now.

And I genuinely thought at one point that I was the only least intelligent person in my family.
