As much as Phil lies, and sucks at it, I think he may be honest there, because he opened himself up for questions about his attention span, both then and now, because nothing has changed there. We know he's usually telling the truth when it winds up saying something negative about him and he doesn't realize it, like the above remarks about the amount of gameplay in his streams. Phil needed to bitch, and unintentionally opened the door for questions he doesn't want to answer by saying something true.

You're correct, as he blurted out that he didn't even know Dracula was "Vlad Tapes" near the end of the game (right after quicksaving for the thousandth time). It's also really telling when he doesn't like a game. I mean, besides yawning constantly.

I'm about 2 days behind on the General Thread, but I'm enjoying that the most touching thing we can realistically think of Phil's parents doing for him is to be secretly hiding money from him that they will give to Phil at a time when he has created another large financial mess for himself by conveniently simultaneously dying.

It really says a lot about him that this is what his familial relationships look like to outsiders based on his own representations of them :\

What's funny is that that's basically what he looked like in the footage of The Incident. It's clearly unfiltered Phil, as real as it gets.

But it raises questions about his stimming, because he doesn't seem to need to do it except for during the pre-streams. Any other time he has been visible while thinking that he isn't, he has been perfectly still, in fact it's really jarring to see him suddenly become animated in that clip when he realizes that we can see him. It's such a difference, which, with anybody else, I wouldn't think much of, but with Phil it has me wondering how much of the swaying about and posing on stream is borderline acting.

Is he... Is he stimming so much during the pre-stream because he stills gets NERVOUS before being on camera? After 13 fucking years? Is that what gets him rocking like crazy? With anybody else, I would never think this, but it's Phil. He doesn't adjust to anything for shit.

What I find even more telling is that his parents are the only ones who seem not only intent on, but are successful in, maintaining any kind of connection with Phil. You think he demands that they email him instead of call? No, they call him and he answers it instead of ignoring them. Guaranteed. No one else seems to want that from him except for trolls trying to get under his skin, but what matters more is that regardless of who it is, if they're not Ma and Pa Burnell, they're not getting it. Only they can tolerate him, and only they can command so much as that from him.

Fucking with the schedule autism is the number one death sentence for a game on DSP’s streams
Can’t wait for him to fuck up and die with an hour left on his stream and blow a gasket. “What’s the point of playing now?!” like how he refuses to just have fun in Fall Guys.

I don't know why but I actually can't remember this one. If Twitch has a 3 strikes policy, he just got his third strike. It makes even more sense now.

Phil would have bought the game regardless in hopes of getting those juicy day 1 views (and in his eyes - potential donators). Same reason as to why he always played the Souls games on release, despite throwing a massive temper tantrum in every single game when the difficulty spiked.

But EVERYONE'S talking about Returnal - it's the next big Sony exclusive that's on everyone's minds. He has to play it! It's not his fault Sony's forcing him to play a game that he knows he'll hate.

So many unnecessary rants about this game - all he had to say was "yeah not for me, I'll stream something else". Instead he's gotta act like it's his fucking responsibility to play this game only to dump it, crying "I'm not having fun, guys. I told told you how this was going to go, but EVERYONE said I had to play it. You asked for this."

He's gonna be a one man salt refinery.

Just call out the troll's name on stream! Smart thinking Phil, I'm sure that won't encourage them at all!

As for the upcoming Returnal shitshow I don't doubt that this will end with the game getting a return(al). It's pretty clear he's already made up his mind about it and the Twitter seething is just preparing his hivemind fanbase for when he inevitable gets his ass kicked, blames the game and then drops it. This is going to be a really funny stream.

Not quite since Phil got banned twice in 2017-2018 also. His third strike would’ve been the first DMCA ban from Supercuck last year if you’re counting those bans.

I love Furi, great game and it also generated a top tier salty ragequit from Phil after dying in the final stage of one of the game's harder bosses multiple times. Phil would probably be a lot happier if he'd just admit he never wants to be challenged by any game ever again and play nothing but JRPGs aimed at children like Pokemon, but then he wouldn't be able to flex on the haters with his professional gamer #1 US Street Fighter cred.

Late AF but---nah Joffrey actually had some foresight ("lol shouldn't we send an army now to kill the girl with baby dragons?"), something DSP has never had nor will ever have. One of the most short-sighted individuals I've come across. Joffrey would have seen the Adpocalypse™ coming, meanwhile DSP spent money under the assumption that would be his fixed income going forward.
