For the same reason overseas fans latch onto memes and flanderise the talents due to the language barrier, it makes sense that the talents want to hold onto those memes and identity to keep a hold of the fans on the other side of that same language barrier.

The shitty, oversaturated jokes are one of the strongest links that connect the overseas fans to the talents both ways. They have to pretend it's funny because doing anything else could hurt the attention they get from Western retards with prospective money to throw at them.

Whoever did the rigging of the of her model did a pretty dam good job. Props to her, she incredibly nervous you can hear it in her voice but she enjoying it. Currently 15k views.

reddit is the places memes go to die tho. most of the time they were always unfunny and borderline annoying. I doubt it has improved since then, especially with the short timeframe and sanitation involved. making the reddit shitpost a weekly thing doesn't help either, why not collect over time and then do one where it's actually worth it? there must be a better way to have collabs to advertise different talent. heck kiara's holotalk is a better than that by now because you at least learn a bit more about them than just regurgitated memes ad nauseam.

Yeah this is definitely something along the lines of the "Hololive effect". Nabi is more active than Gura if that puts things into perspective but no where near of like Fubiki tier. Hell even as I write this she now nearly on 110k subs.

Essentially if you work for something on "Hololive" like being a Artist or Rigger, etc. If you want to do your own project it shows it helps LOADS. You can even take Pochi-sensei as another great example, granted she was a fairly big name before she designed Reine but now with most of the hololive fans watching her own vtuber stuff, it spread her name like wildfire. Look at the graph below, Reine debuted on 6th Dec 2020 and look at that spike.

The end products of what they make are usually pretty amazing but the process of achieving said product is the most roundabout way of going. I'd watch the hell out of anyone playing Drakengard 1 for the first time lol.
