2) Championing the country and the constitution all the while the more fanatical wing of your party claims both are outdated and are connected to systematic racism,
3) Tying this to May Day and not a more meaningful day based on our history such as April 30th (when Washington took office), July 2nd (when the Declaration of Independence was actually passed), or hek July 4th, etc.

True. He carpet-bagged his way here into Arizona and used Hensley money (Cindy's father, who owned the only Budweiser distributorship in AZ, she took over in 2000 after daddy Hensley died). I met her one day having lunch at Scottsdale Fashion Square and while still pretty good looking (late 90's), she struck me more as a ditzy "blonde" than drugged at the time. She hid the addiction pretty well, kind of like a "functioning alcoholic." Being John McCain was a member of my American Legion post (right up the street from the Hensley distributorship), I used to have a fair amount of respect for the man. Even voted for him when he ran for President. IMHO, him losing was what drove him in becoming so RINO. His actions and words became blasphemy to a Republican Party that had always supported him. Don't know if his vote against repealing the (un) Affordable Care Act was his final fuck you to the Repubs, but sure seemed that way.

This whole "Loyalty Day" day thing looks like some incredibly misunderstood attempt to appeal to the 'patriotic' demographic. I don't think Bidens admin realizes or cares that the demographic in question would laugh at the idea of a loyalty day. That's the sort of shit I'd read in a dystopian novel and roll my eyes at.

Seemed like they were able to get in because they had the other primary candidates purposefully staying in to split the ticket enough so no contender could stop Biden. Harris though isn't really that terrible a candidate, even if you disagree with her politics, she's very good at rehearsed statements. You could see this on display during committee hearings where they're able to prepare sets of questions in advance, she was able to sound fairly competent there in comparison to many others who can seem to flounder.
