So, that "think for yourself" line is confusing to me. Isn't that what antivaxxers say? I mean don't they tell you to not listen to the LAMESTREAM media and instead "think for yourself"? I always love this line about the modem swap for an IP change. He is probably paying for the static IP on the business line. All they have to do is assign a new IP address to the MAC address of his modem from the support center. They can then reboot the modem remotely. The process can be done in minutes. Techs usually refuse to go out for this type of issue if the modem is already showing online because they know this can be done. I guarantee you that the tech saw he was Up and Up with good traffic, and the tech humored Phil by going out because business class internet customers get techs out quick. The tech probably laughed at his ass when he left the house and documented the stupidity on the job order or ticketing system.
