Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

I miss his presence in politics but its not like I'm going to his site because his messages get reposted amongst the dozen other feeds I see. Pretty much. The Trump Derangement threads on another forum I follow are still going strong while the Biden thread withered and died even though these people should have been shitting god damn bricks for what Biden has done.

But no, Trump terrifies these people to the core of their being.

It is clear two decades of US dominance globally has effectively made the deepstate think they can bully any nation into submission. Only because he's using a solid tactic and we need to opsec. Republicans always lose because they have these stupid notions that there's some sort of "ruleset" or code to how these things work that they need to follow. If they lose then they just need to accept it and lose with dignity. This is why the democrats thrash the GOP every single goddamn year. They're fighting with both hands in their pockets. They don't realize the time for civility is over.

If they want to win they need to start learning from their enemies. Use these tactics. Stop pretending rules exist—those rules we enjoy so much only work when everyone is willing to abide by them now, and as we can see no one wants to do that anymore.
