What our boy Derich has going on here with the bizarre way he robotically repeats messages back to people seems very similar to echolalia, which tends to be a symptom commonly associated with autism.



I figured I'd just go on youtube and look up "echolalia" since obviously that should lead to a nice quick clinical demonstration of the phenomenon that I could embed, and instead I'm greeted by an endless wave of grinning psychotic women eager to show off their neurodevelopmentally stunted children in the most longwinded and useless way possible. Plus because they can't wait to turn their tard babies into online ass pats the examples are all in children around 3 years old; that's fucking useless, how the hell is anyone supposed to tell the difference between their babble vs. the babble of any other toddler? Is this just material for insane white women to jill off to? It creeps me out. I hate these people.

As for Derich's porn obsession, I must admit I'm in the camp that questions if he's even jerking off to the porn he constantly talks about. It seems wholly possible that he just has a very autistic interpretation of what being a mature adult means (hm, sounds familiar...), so he thinks because porn/sex is considered "adult content", then that means interfacing with porn as a whole is what cool mature people do. Honestly if someone was mentally stunted and only understood the world through the internet, I could see how they might be confused into believing not only did consuming and discussing porn make them mature, but in fact the more bizarre and degenerate the porn one associated themselves with the more adult they must be, since it's less mainstream, and online things being mainstream means they're safe for kids, and he is not a kid. He is a mature adult.

I think Derich just doesn't know how to talk to someone if it isn't in the form of giving them a shoutout or asking them a question. It also goes to show how strange his attention obsession is. I know he's not looking for the same style of attention from Jackie as he is the people he shoutouts, but Jackie was at least engaging with him, but once Jackie stopped, Derich was just incapable of carrying a conversation or offering anything of substance. Even if his dream came true and someone responded to his shoutouts and started talking to him, the conversation would quickly break down when he ran out of ways to reword whatever they were saying.
