My Mass Effect tips goal depends on how the streams until then go, right? If I hit all of the tip goals it might only be upper five figures, if support is not pahsitive enough it might be a clean six figures, understand? I really need the support right now, with my back taxes and my mortgage.

So is this the future of the stream? When he doesn't hit his insane tip goal daily then he does a big begathon where he has a high tip goal?

I would say he is doing everything in his power to avoid going to YT to get paid memberships and superchats, but this is such a pathetic effort to make more than usual amounts of money.

Of course, this is on top of the usual: being the eternal victim, shitting on twitch, MUH bills.

its sort of mind bending to realize that his plan is to be in his sixties and still rambling to strangers online about how he can finally end the Thirty Year Financial Crisis if you can just spot him a 20. he has no tools besides whatever worked on his mom and dad when he was 10 and no ability to understand its limitations or develop new tactics. he is the ultimate scrub and i am in awe.

Just like I said 2 days ago (I think) - prepare yourself for the return of the "Save the House" begathons. We haven't had one of those in a while and they've made a triumphant return after the Twitch partnership removal.

EDIT: Hell, if this keeps up we may see a triumphant return of the "Pay My Taxes" begathons at the end of the year too!

Phil is lying about moving to Youtube. He knows there's no audience waiting for him there and he hit the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow with his Twitch viewers. Twitch attracts a special kind of autism that's absolutely perfect for grifters like Phil.
For all his doomsaying, guilt-tripping, and threats, Phil won't leave Twitch until he is outright banned from the platform.
What I don't understand is the marathon. Does he think he's going to draw upon untapped money sources? It's been the same few people financing him for years. Just stop playing boring fucking games made for babies like Snap and they'll pony up. This departnering has him in such a panic that he's just pulling all the stops before he hits an actual problem first.

What is he expecting from this dumb marathon? His regular paypigs obviously don't give a shit and either his whales will give him the money now or they will give it over a longer period. Or does he expect them to give him $1,000 for the marathon as well as continuing to hit the tips goal? Because if he thinks that, well look at what happened to ladiesman.

I thought he couldn't do 24 hour streams. Because that's how long it would take to get 8 hrs gameplay at the least.
