I don't know what's funnier to me, black people having more magic energy because their skin absorbs more sunlight or whatever 'trans magic' is.

Its also amazing how they have criteria for their baseless practices founded 'feelings' or 'energy'. If you're a radical feminist slightly less far down the line than them you cant be a witch. Somehow the entire universe happens to align with their 21st century worldview on gender and they're smart enough to have figured this out while noone else has. I think most paganism comes from a place of arrogance.

I can at least agree with a bit of this, there's a shitload of gatekeeping in these kinds of communities that are arbitrary as hell. Some will flip their lid if a man so much as discusses or shows an interest in 'the wrong kinds' of paganism. As one would expect there's naturally huge gobs of anti-white sentiment.

The portions about being an EBIL TERF can fuck right off.

I don't think anyone can claim to be surprised that people raised in the woke cult know what the woke cult is.

This is like being surprised at the fact that a six year old raised in Scientology can tell you what Dianetics is.
Oh sweet innocent Marshal, none of these conversations ever happened.

For sure, I knew a guy living in London who practiced witchcraft (not as a larp), never prayed because he said he didn't need to because god loves him already and was an open homosexual yet still said he was Muslim. The latter is a major sin but the former two take a person out the religion but he never stopped saying he was Muslim. It's shameful to have people like that represent us in any way.
Funny to think that maybe bitching about apostates could be what brings us together, and solidifies a peace between the faiths. (before the robot menace REALLY unites all meatbags)

Cheers! :drink:

In almost every single video from the snake man totally not lizard person Black guy he pulls that "sudden turn at the camera" move. It's be funny if he didn't keep drawing closer to the camera like he's gonna unhinge his jaw and eat you.

Also Trans magic: "Watch me make my genitals disappear!"
I'm really hoping for the Witchblr civil war to kick off between the TERF zip-zappers and the Trans abracadabras. It's been foreshadowed for dozens of pages now. I'm wondering which side would claim their bodily fluids are more powerful.

The butterfly pic really is beautiful, though. And that herbalist lady--look at her. She's so nice, normal, isn't dying her hair crazy rainbows or smearing blood all over her face while talking to her inner brain gods...
It's like what I said about Angie. The switch over from non-crazy "witch" to tea drinking herbalist would be so easy. Replace the spell jars with a tiny Celtic garden.

Which is especially weird considering how much of it comes from White peoples or European paganism. Unless we can find more voodoo witchery.
Now I'm wondering if we can find a Witchblr that specializes in shrunken heads and making zombies (without using Saul Alinsky)

See the problem with that is that a lot of real black magic involves things like blood, hair, faeces and other disgusting stuff because its demonic in nature. Not all of it requires that of course but a decent chunk of it does from my experience. There's a reason a ton of satanic cults get linked to sacrifices of all kinds, that's the stuff that works. From my experience I think that Tumblr witches would coin as 'white magic' where they burn incense and do divination with tea leaves is either low tier stuff or not magic at all, just paganism.

Most people who practice voodoo wouldn't post on tumblr but I do remember seeing a bunch of upper middle class black tumblr witches living in western countries that got into magic and practice voodoo because 'its their culture'. Some are 2nd or 3rd generation immigrants and they're serious about it, while others are African American and do it because it makes them feel special even if they have no real link to the culture they're appropriating anymore.

What I think you will find more of though is Santeria. That stuff is very much alive even now many generations down the line in Latin American communities living in the US so I'd assume it would make its way to Tumblr more frequently than voodoo.

Imagine being born into a cultural heritage of one of the most civilized countries in the world, speaking the lingua franca of the world, with so much available to you in terms of art, music and especially literature--only to collect cat bones, dress in tiger linen and frantically click your tongue while pretending to be a spear chucking head shrinker. You know, to be "authentically" Black.
Good point about the demonic aspects, too, though.

Speaking of voodoo and shrinking, I can imagine some witchy TERFs really enjoying this magic spell:

Someone posted upthread about that early on. It's genuinely unnerving how it cobbles together folktale, occult and splashes of warped Catholicism. It's big among cartels, too, right?

Yes and no. Santeria is basically African paganism interpreted through a Catholic lens - ie the African orisha of war becomes St George or whoever, and the Eucharist or holy water is used in the place of a magical charm.

Cartels tend to venerate Santa Muerte, which is a representation of death. For what it's worth both santeria and the cult of Santa Muerte are considered blasphemous by the actual Catholic Church.

This reminds me of a story I read somewhere about a shipment of frozen human penises headed to China being intercepted on its way out of some African country. I cant remember where I saw it but I'm positive it was real.

Adding onto this for anyone unfamiliar with Santeria. It started with African slaves brought over to South America who wanted to continue practicing African paganism but didnt want to be caught. They coded their spirits to Catholic saints to hide the fact their beliefs were still pagan so that each spirit was represented by said saint. Over time, Santeria became distinct enough from African paganism that its not exactly the same since it has more 'Christian' elements and Latin American cultural practices mixed into it.

A ton of people in South America believe in some aspects of Santeria even if they don't actively practice the witchcraft side of it. Many people wear pendants of their orisha and follow specific rules that come with binding yourself to one like never making a business deal involving 3 people. If I'm not mistaken El Chapo's son was even wearing one of these pendants when he was caught by the Mexican feds, its on video. As with the 'white magic' stuff I mentioned earlier even if Santeria adherents don't practice witchcraft its still heresy so I'm not a fan of it.

Santa Muerte
Do NOT fuck with Santa Muerte. I'm not even being cute. She-the-diety is older than Catholicism and similar to what happened with Santaria and Voodoo the followers just hid her inside Catholicism to keep worshiping her "in secret" (sometimes literally, there have been been plenty of statues of Catholic saints in Mexico which were later found to be hollow and have little idols hidden inside them).
Sante Muerte the religion is full of dangerous, dangerous people and I warn everyone I love (that includes you guys) to stay far the fuck away if you catch even a whif of that shit.
I'm not being being my normal self in posting this. Dead serious. Avoid those motherfuckers.

Avoid it because of the people themselves being dangerous or because of their witchcraft?

The people themselves. I've got a whole spiel I could go on regarding magic, but when it comes to these people I put that all in the "for later" box. The practitioners of Santa Muerte are goddamn dangerous and insane.

Santa Muerte has ties to the Aztec death goddess Mictecacihuatl

It's "associated" with violence, criminality, and drugs for the same reason rain is associated with things getting wet.
I've seen a lot of weird offerings but cigarettes are new for me lol. This feels like a religion out of mad max.

Also a bit unrelated but I remember seeing a video a while back about a witchcraft market (I think in Bolivia but I'm not sure) where they would sell mummified fetuses of different animals. It was kind of shocking because I never saw anything that crazy being so widespread. There's a lot of crazy magic that goes on in Africa and South America that we don't know about on the English side of things because of language barriers. I think it would be cool if people from different cultures explained their local variants, I would totally be open to giving the arab and islamic angles on things.
