Well that's just depressing.

With most of the love shy crowd like Kent, they idolize being in a relationship. What came to me is has Kent ever said why he wants a girl friend? I know he states a lot he's lonley, but why a girl friend instead of just a buddy? He feels he's behind because he's not dated, so is it his ego? He doesn't come off as a super horn dog and with how much money he dumps into hats he could afford a rent a date. He says he wants to date but he really never says how or like he's got an idea or desire to share life with someone, he just wants a girlfriend and there's really no reasoning.

With someone like Chris Chan he wants a mom 2.0. Kent doesn't seem to expand much on what he wants in a relationship just that he wants one, and really I'm guessing with how narcassictic he is it's because he was turned down now he needs to prove he can.

He's mentioned the men going their own way movement and he feels that he should join but won't because he wants a girl. So it's not social pressure, granted he doesn't skip a chance to gripe when people ask him if he's got a girl.

Maybe I shouldn't put too much thought into it, but I don't know why he wants a g/f so badly.

kent wants a girlfriend because he thinks having a girlfriend is an indicator of social success (or, really, lack of social failure). he routinely talks about how everybody he knows is more experienced with relationships, etc., and he processes that as a kind of personal deficit. another way to look at it might be that kent thinks that he will feel normal, accepted, whatever if he has a girlfriend because it would be proof that he is worthy of romantic love, like a normal person might be. i'm not sure kent's motivations to seek companionship are really all that different from those of regular single people, he's just a lot more whiny/entitled about it.

the whole MGTOW thing doesn't really relate to social pressure, as i understand it: that's really an instance where kent is saying, "in an ideal universe, i would be able to divorce my wants from my life and do my own thing without worrying about women, but i am flawed and still want a girlfriend." even then, it's all internal

worth noting that he's definitely not in it for the sex. besides that one mystifying video in which he claims he would not know where to put his penis (???), kent seriously represses his sex drive. this is probably part of why he finds it so difficult to go out in public and see women (particularly those in short shorts, lel kent). the repression itself is probably a religious thing as much as it is anything else: check out this twitter exchange from early 2013 where some random people talk about kent IRL. from this (and other twitter mentions of Kentray Brown), you can piece together that as early as 2011, kent was very religious AND seemed to be making videos to that effect. this is fundamentally why kent fucking someone/hiring a prostitute/whatever wouldn't work--sex isn't the goal here, companionship is.

kent thinks there is no such thing as average: you are either attractive or unattractive. this is a binary kent has discussed before--in his 45 minute video from the other day, he says this a few times.

here's something mystifying: kent says that people will ask others, "hey, do you find kent attractive?" and the responses will be "he's okay" or somesuch. kent somehow interprets this as people saying he is unattractive (or "more on the unattractive side"). he thinks if someone tells you you are average looking, you are ugly.

another bizarre statement: if you were to rate people 0-10 on looks, anything 7 and under is "bad" according to kent. yes, if you are a 7/10 or under in looks, you are ugly. he indicates people have rated him 7/10 and he understands this to mean that he is unattractive

he believes that moonmantv was making fun of him to get views for his own channel, which is probably true.

he then points out that moonmantv also likes to fuck with jamil/malik. kent says that the two of them go through the same struggles. he says ease up off him.

he also says to ignore trolls/haters. "they ain't worth responding to." this is interesting because this is video number two of kent responding to a guy who was trolling him.

The movie review was lulz. It was just Kent talking about Star Wars episode 1. Or as he calls it Phantom of the Menace. He just talked about the end of the movie spoiling it for anyone that hasn't seen it already. Stumbles over himself trying to say Obi Wan multiple times. Then lets us know he has no knowledge of the Star Wars time line at all and says how he thinks there's gonna be Clones in the new star wars movie.. I just face palmed and closed the video after that.

Oh goodness.

I'm thinking this is work, or school related as he's not harping on women for 20 minutes. When Kent speaks calmly and doesn't stutter he speaks rather well, he does add the letter K to the word anything. Just noted that.

I understand he has legit depression issues and I feel for him but I don't know if he's holding a pity party/justifying himself or lacks the empty those with out depression problems can be rejected and not thrown into a funk, and depending severity or nature of depression you could be a person suffering and take it.

It bothers me a bit he does take the pity party route and claims anyone who's had any stroke of good is not aware what rejection feels like. A lot of people who've done amazing things have had it way worse than Kent all around in life. Kent forgets he claims he's had a lot of people helping him out of pity, doesn't that count as a break? I think back to his highschool principal who "passed him because he felt bad" a real HS diploma for nothing is a heck of a break, and helps a ton more than a GED or nothing. He rants about life being not being fair, isn't a free diploma vs those who studied rather unfair?

He says no one has the right to judge anyone, but he judges himself and others this whole video, everyone else has had a break and he claims he's a loser. Both of those are judgements.

He informs/warns us he will make a video about the pre season game of the rams vs raiders (Last year was a 52-0 slaughter and with my mild football studies I don't think he'll be too happy come end of the game as the Rams are still rather strong and the Raiders don't seem to have made very strong moves) and ends the video.

Looks like he invested his hard earned money. He lists his gamer tag OfficalKent_. Yet he says it's _OfficalKent.

He doesn't have a knife handy and uses his keys to open it, I wonder if he's trusted with sharp things after his attempts. He struggles to open the box. He is happy as a clam rubbing his hands and giggling the entire video. He says the power cord is an HDMI cord and later corrects himself.
He finds under the PS4 itself the batman game he wanted came with it and promptly drops it. He shows some of his hats off in the ps4s reflection.

He takes note it's larger than he expected. More hinting he's done that little research. Well I have the feeling he'll be very busy with this hope he doesn't dry up his video making.

A new employee at GameStop offends Kent by telling him not to purchase Watch Dogs. Instead, the guy tells him to get games like Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. The employee "offended" Kent further by suggesting pre-owned games since they're cheaper and that Kent wasted his money buying a PS4.

Kent feels the guy is judging him for his choices and has a bad attitude.

Around 15:33, he mentions how he kept his cool but will start becoming more aggressive toward people like that in the future.
