'Ballerina' is an actual title; no professional ballet dancer ever calls themself that unless they're actually a prima, and even then it's kinda cringe. And Kelly was no professional. She also started munching before doing ballet, so the toxic ballet environment could only have exacerbated her issues.

Wow she wasted no time. Most people a day or two after a major surgery, let alone an amputation, are shell shocked and focused on recovery. She'll be flying high off all the attention she'll be getting from wound care, physical therapy, etc....once that wears off and she's sent home, she'll start in on the 'mystery illness' that will overtake the stumps.

I don't think so, just way more skin than I think she meant to show. Who knows wtf she's on at this time, so I can only imagine it's difficult to have a lot of awareness about accidentally showing your awkward rolls of skin, and everyone knows Kelly didn't have much self-awareness to begin with.

I bet this is nice, cared for surgery is going to be the perfect blank canvas for Kellys' grotesque attention grabs. Big ups to the surgeons who probably know her munchie ways but did their job anyway. Its got to be a shitty feeling.

And then all of a sudden for no reason at all her stump stitches will be mysteriously torn out. This bitch will never stop. Fuck what's humane at this point because she's clearly insane and sometimes what's best for a person tests "humanity", like putting them in a straight jacket and human muzzle.

Question: Say someone like Kelly is diagnosed (IDK if she was or not, I didn't see anything regarding it) with actual Munchausen's ... like she goes to the Dr. and they tell her to her face "We know you are inflicting this on yourself and we have now diagnosed you with Munchausen's." What happens then? Are Dr.'s no longer allowed to treat her? Is this 5150 worthy? How does that work?

that's one of the most bitterly ironic things in this shitshow: all things considered, Kelly's body seems to be very good at repairing itself. all of the wounds she's given herself throughout the years tended to heal pretty quickly when she wasn't fucking around with them, iirc. and these grafts, fuck's sake, these were healing stunningly. even right now she's saying the stumps are healing quickly and i've got no reason to believe otherwise, since she'd definitely let everyone know if that wasn't the case.The scars from her once successful skin grafts.

Kelly so far has never uploaded videos of herself actually picking at the wounds, all her videos were like "here is my latest progress". This might change though.
As far as I am aware, Kelly has never exhibited symptoms of psychosis. She wasn't picking at her legs convinced she was removing maggots, for example.
Mental health diagnoses of this sort are usually hidden from the patient for several reasons:
1. If all it took for crazy people to snap out of their crazy was to tell them "you're crazy", we wouldn't be here. Same for fat people and troons.
2. There often really is an underlying issue (that may or may not have resolved itself), and many are righteously angry and sue-happy.
3. In a hospital setting, it is hard to tell (and not worth determining) why someone is in triage. There is tremendous pressure to maintain patient turnover and with the pandemic, the number of spaces allowed in A&E and triage are basically halved.
If an act of self harm is witnessed or reported, a variety of steps are taken before involuntary psychiatric hold occurs ("sectioned" is the lingo where I am). We cannot act upon suspicions.
By the way, not every doctor can authorise these. I am expected to report to my supervisor (different hospitals use different lingo, but for me specifically, this would be a Department Head), who may or may not assemble a care team with such an authority ready to take over from me.
Involuntary psychiatric holds are a double edged sword - to begin with, all medical treatment must cease once the person is officially deemed sectioned. In some cases, this includes removing aids from the person - glasses, contact lenses, hearing aids, mobility aids.
Secondly, there is a hard upper limit for number of hours - in many cases these holds cannot be renewed or extended successively - and after that the patient must be discharged, even if they require other treatment.
I cannot remember if there is a cooldown before readmission, or if we get the orderlies to wheel the patient out, do a lap around the block and wheel them back in to A&E.
It is rather amusing to watch if you do not have a dog in the fight - it plays out like those hostage negotiator cop movies except the perp and hostage is the same person.

I'm forever astonished by how crafted her selfies and other photos are. Nothing is candid with this one. To wit, she found not one but two reflective surfaces so we the audience can see both her stumps and her face.
I remember a photo from a while ago where she was in the hospital with her head in her hands and the absolute manipulation involved in saying to someone else, "Here's my phone, take a picture of me looking super distraught," just defies all reason.
But this video kind of reminds me of JY in the bathtub where clever farmers figured out that he must have had at least two phones in there at once to take a video of himself calling 911.
She could have taken a video of her face with the tablet, but then you couldn't see the stumps. She could have used the phone she's holding to take a video of the stumps and then shifted it to her face but that wouldn't be a perfect viewing experience. So she had to set up the tablet and her compact mirror so we could see both at once.
Who the fuck brings a compact to an amputation? Kelly. Kelly does that.
Hard to know exactly where either one of those eyes is going.
