Here’s a new progress album someone just put together..

I probably shouldn't ask this, but can someone please provide context for the images from July 2, 2018? They depict Kelly, with feet bandaged, sitting on the floor with newspapers beneath her weeping, crusted legs. Most interestingly, there's a spoon beside her right hand that's covered in...god knows what manner of black, crusty material.

Antibiotics are uh, exactly what it says on the name. If it is a living thing, it kills indiscriminately. The reason antibiotics seem to kill only the pathogen is because most pathogens breed rapidly, and in the process take in a lethal dose of antibiotics rapidly.

There is no "wrong type" of antibiotics unless the pathogen is already resistant to certain types. If something was going to be killed by doxycycline, amoxycillin was gonna work just as well, and so on and so forth.

I suppose the delivery mechanism can be wrong, but it's not like anyone is letting Kelly down a bottle of hibiclens (antibiotic wash for surgery prep). Plus there is a similar case - years ago, a pregnant lady received an epidural of disinfectant. She lives in permanent pain and most of her body is paralysed, so I don't think it would work for Kelly either.

This isn't exactly necrotizing fasciitis. Kelly picking herself was the main vehicle of infection. Plus there is a chance the pathogen becomes antibiotic resistant and if it makes the jump to another patient...
You just made me realize something. You have to, HAVE TO take everything they give you at scheduled intervals. This is extremely important to do because, while antibiotics will kill off microorganisms, they're only able to wipe out the weaker ones in the first 1-3 days and stopping before you finish your regime leaves the survivors with an increased resistance to the antibiotic. This is why we have antibiotic-resistant bacteria, people don't finish the whole thing.

She obviously had to be sent home with antibiotics, right? If she was picking at her wounds and fucking up her grafts, what makes you think she took her medication? What makes us think she took the whole regimen of antibiotics? I wouldn't be surprised if she helped contribute to this epidemic. I also wouldn't be surprised if she picks up a nosocomial infection at the hospital too, her lymphatic system has to be fucked up to hell and back.

ETA: some antibiotics work better against certain bacteria strains. There's gram positive and gram negative bacteria, as well as ones that are enveloped and non-enveloped; biofilm (like dental plaque) is another defense mechanism microbes tend to make which can be very difficult to wipe out.
Example: Tetracyclines like doxycycline are very powerful and are used to treat anthrax and listeria (and bacteria from parasitic hosts in animals).

Thank you. That's what it looks like on my phone. Much appreciated.

I couldn't get the whole thing to load on my phone, but could it be coffee grounds? That was mentioned earlier, as well as onions for a few attempts at home remedies at some stage.

Update from Kelly:

Not necessarily. In order to be sent home with skin grafts, she would have undergone appropriate surgical prep (including a course of antibiotics) and signed off on the surgical site being clean and pathogen free, both before and after.

There is no reason why anyone would prescribe antibiotics after surgery when topical antiseptics do the job just as well. Is this kind of approach more common in US or Canada?

If she was picking at her wounds and fucking up her grafts, what makes you think she took her medication? What makes us think she took the whole regimen of antibiotics? I wouldn't be surprised if she helped contribute to this epidemic.

I don't think she took antibiotics at all either, but the problem was she was actively rubbing shit in (some farmers believe it was literally faecal matter), not that she merely neglected an existing infection.

Presumably upon admission she would have been prescribed antibiotics, but that might be a case of "too little, too late".

I also wouldn't be surprised if she picks up a nosocomial infection at the hospital too, her lymphatic system has to be fucked up to hell and back.

Only time will tell, but right now, she would not have gotten that epidural if there was such a risk.

ETA: some antibiotics work better against certain bacteria strains.

Yes, this is true, I was simply explaining on the position of why "wrong antibiotics do not guarantee death".

Apologies for shitting up the thread and not providing any further updates, but I've been following our Vampire Munchie for years, and re-read through this and her threads on other forums within the last week and just had a sudden epiphany that I hadn't seen anyone else mention, but it may have been too obvious to others so they didn't.

So, right before her leg saga, she had those "mysterious blisters" on her fingers. Almost immediately, everyone figured she grabbed some kind of heat tool for hair, like a curling iron or straightener, and held onto it until it badly burnt her. Once that started to heal, her legs became her focus.

It just occurred to me that her fingers were almost certainly her test run for burning herself (either with heat or, most likely for her legs, chemicals) and seeing what her results would be. Losing a hand probably would have been too difficult for her, so she didn't continue to aggravate the wound on her hand. Similarly, this seems to be why she stopped fucking with her thighs, as amputation up to the hip would have been "too much" for her.

I'm not sure why this feels like an "a-ha" moment, but I'm very convinced her finger burns were her early experimentation with the process of burn wounds that she later applied to her legs.

You're right, I think, about her testing the waters with it, but I think an important note to keep in mind with Kelly is that she never thinks ahead with her newest, mysterious "symptoms". She literally just claims something, or does something to herself, and then gauges people's reactions. If enough people believe it's a plausible ailment she'll run with it, but if not she'll drop the storyline completely and move on.
I think with the finger burnings too many people called her out on them being obvious burns from gripping something hot so she moved the same technique further down until someone named it behcts.

Posts like this are why I love the Farms.

Conspiracy theory: she has had no visitors of any sort, & is posting entirely by herself to try to glean some extra pity party favors. Imagine being so grossly disliked & mistrusted that no one so much as calls you after your legs are amputated. How very fucking sad it would be if not completely self-inflicted.

Normally I'd agree with you because Kelly has no friends (she has some family she still manages to manipulate out of obligation on occasion, a roomate who I think gets her rocks off claiming to be taking care of this fragile little ballerina with oh so many problems and a bunch of fellow munchies online who all "yes and" each other until one is found out and then they're dropped like a stone) but someone is helping her take some pictures. It could be a super patient nurse, but I think more likely at least one person was in the room with her at one point.

A reminder for the new kids; none of her accounts have ever actually been "hacked". Its one of her fave excuses for when she gets found out for posting something blatantly false, when her phone has been proven to be posting on lolcow or kiwi farms, when her followers stop paying attention or when she needs to buy time to come up with a new story/excuse.

lies.png

What usually happens is that she doesn't get the same engagment from these new accounts as she did her old ones, so she magically "recovers" her old account to get back the followers and asspats that used her migration to dump her sorry ass.

Officially went down the full K-hole today and watched the entire IG saga.

That is the hardest part for me to stomach. Well, one, is there are a couple points earlier in her story where docs don't want to debride her wounds "because the wounds are not self-inflicted," and the Behcet's has to run its course before the damaged tissue can be removed.
Because she is diagnosed as having Behcet's, the underlying problem/diseased tissue would still remain because she's in a Behcet's flare & it will continue to be damaged until the flare is over.

I'm certainly no expert, but her entire treatment plan for most of this seems to be based upon Behcet's. If Kelly never had Behcet's, every single time a decision like whether or not to debride was made factoring in that condition & not the true injuries. Every single time, she could have just said, "I picked at them" and probably not even be judged the first time or two because I'm sure they itch. Every single time, she threw away her legs more and more.

I'm appalled Kelly got how many millions of dollars of tax-payer funded treatment and care to try to help her keep her legs, ultimately to fail because she was allowed to pick at them. I realize it's Canada, can they not strap a psych patient's hands down if they're that much of a risk to themselves? It seems it would have been more cost-effective to hire a 24-hour babysitter team to keep her from hurting herself than pay for all the extensive wound care and long hospitalizations.

Does anyone know which infections her legs had? There are pictures where her legs look like a Petri dish from a doorknob swab, seemingly multiple infection types.

The important thing to remember here is that we don't actually know what kind of treatment plan she was on, or what the doctors have actually said. All we have are the words (and obv. fake medical papers) of a compulsive liar and attention whore. When she claims the doctors gave a specific order because, in her own words, the wounds aren't self inflicted she's just trying to use that as proof that the doctor's aren't on to her lies.

What was her justification for scraping at bone with dirty fingernails, while still claiming it's not self inflicted??

She doesn't have one. She just repeats that her behcet's is super special and that just because there's one photo or video where she's hacking at her own wounds like a woman possessed doesn't mean she does it all the time or that it was the cause of her wounds or ongoing "symptoms".
Over the years Kelly has been caught in a ton of lies and contradictions, but it doesn't slow her roll.

I haven't kept up with Kelly in awhile. I bailed on the exposed nerve twitching stuff. 🤮

But how the hell is she shocked? She couldn't have possibly thought those legs would last. Might as well come back later to see the stump picking saga and her big reveal of the unknown new leg stump disease she has aquired that is baffling doctors.

Two thoughts on this; first is that she's obv not really shocked and is just playing it up for her audience. She's maintained for ages that she's going to beat this and come out stronger so when she doesn't she has to have her proper script prepared.
Second is that I do think, as inevitable as this seemed to all of us, that she was a tiny tiny bit surprised. Think of it this way; You're a circus performer up on a tightrope with no safety net; you jump and hop across the rope with full confidence that you'll make it to the other side because you have every other time before. You delight as the onlookers gasp when you pretend to lose your balance, they're convinced you'll fall, but this is just another practiced stunt and you know just when to pull back. What looks to them like a slip up, or a lose of balance is still completely within your control. But one day you DO slip, you DO fall and then you find yourself flat on your back, staring upwards in completely shock. That wasn't supposed to happen.
Kelly was never afraid of her symptoms or the outcomes because she controlled every bit of it, and I think she convinced herself that no matter how bad it looked as soon as she stopped it could all go back to normal and she'd be fine. The problem is that she never actually stopped, she had way less control than she ever realized and the few times we saw what seemed like genuine fear and regret in her was probably that reality peeking through for just a moment before being consumed by the "but I can stop anytime" fantasy.

Is it feasible for the nurses to put a camera in her room? She'll either find out and stop doing whatever the fuck she's doing in hospital or not notice, in which case they have leverage. Also, some of you guys were talking about her and pregnancy... Do you think she'd even find a man? She looks like a psycho at first glance, legs or no legs. Tbh her eyes bother me more than her draugr beef jerky shins.

I can't imagine why they would bother. They really don't need more proof that she's doing this to herself, it's all been laid out bare for them to see since her bloodletting days. Hell, she's taken pictures of her using her hands and even scissors to hack at her legs that they've no doubt seen, and line that up with the fact that her skin grafts started getting destroyed the moment she got access to them again, well, even the most naïve medical professional would raise an eyebrow.
That said, we don't know what they have already that Kelly doesn't know about. I'm sure they already have video of her bloodletting, probably pulling out her own crown (since that happened in the hospital and the nurses and doctors just rolled their eyes) and no doubt picking and scrapping. Kelly doesn't realize this because, well, she's that perfect kind of stupid that thinks they're too clever for us normal folks.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. To piggyback here, the success of her skin grafts in 2019 probably gave her that sense of a "safety net" - she's free to keep picking, because no matter how nasty things get, the plastic surgeons will be there to swoop in and save her! Fresh slate of meat each time!

Unfortunately she never quite grasped the limits of modern medicine, and the basics of skin/wound care. This retard would rub her wounds with alcohol swabs, scrape them with fingernails and dirty scissors, scrub them with chlorhexidine soap and fucking tap water, walk around in tight pants and bare feet... you don't need to be a registered wound care nurse or surgeon to know that this is NOT how you get wounds to heal.

She was told countless times by her health care team to cut that shit out.. and she didn't. And now look where she is. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Yes I'm MOTI. Kelly was either a moron stuck in fantasy land ("my legs will heal no matter what") , or she purposefully mutilated herself over 3 years with the express goal of amputation ("I don't want my legs to ever heal, I am stump ballerina!"). No in between.

I think I finally found my limit for gore with the video where the exposed tendon is moving inside the rot hole, plus the picture of the stringy thing she tore out of herself. Genuinely some of the worst things I have ever seen. I'm on the verge of vomiting.
I haven't been able to get myself to look at any of it. Just the descriptions alone make me feel pain in my legs. I've seen videos of people shotgunning their brains out and footage from Chinese factories but the concept of a person gnawing at their rotting legs until they reach the nerves is too much for me.

I think it's worth remembering (for a lot of other people in this thread, not just you) that people who do shit like this are completely detached from reality. BPD severe self-harmers, for example, aren't just "that person you always knew but crazy" - they're living in what literally seems like a parallel reality, and they often genuinely believe it. Yes, they twist shit for attention, but they do so in a way where they lie to themselves far more convincingly than they lie to other people. I would not be remotely surprised that Kelly had ""no idea"" this was going to happen, because she's not really even consciously taking responsibility for what she's doing to herself, and also because it doesn't fit into the narrative of this parallel reality she's built around herself where she genuinely is a poor sad sick ballerina girl that the doctors can't fix.

Yes, she's picking at her legs, but that's only because the doctors don't see how sick she really is, and she needs to show them, so she gets the care she genuinely needs, and if that involves exacerbating her symptoms then so be it! She's only doing it to get the help she already needs for her illness that already exists. That's the kind of weird, looped-back-on-themselves thought processes you get with this kind of self-harm/munchie type stuff. It's like they're looking at the world through some fucked-up looking glass.

To add to this.
It's very likely that the medical papers were fake, but even if they weren't Behcet's disease wouldn't be an incredibly hard diagnosis to get by someone who is pretending (like a lot of autoimmune shit).
There are no objective tests to diagnose Behcet's. There is a blood test to see if you have a gene (HLA-B51) that is associated with the disease, and there's the "pathergy test" (stick a needle in you, if your skin reacts funny you might have Behcet's), but neither of those are required for diagnosis. It is a clinical diagnosis, the criteria is pretty much "do you get mouth ulcers and have other symptoms?".
When it comes to mouth ulcers, you can just say "yes, I had mouth ulcers often, none in this very moment for you to see, shucks".

And nothing in her internet display of her disease felt like Behcet's.
Behcet's is a fairly manageable disease with a lot of options for treatment available - steroids are the go to for flare ups, usually if you're a pretty bad case you're given some sort of blood thinner (low dose aspirin), there are a lot of choices in terms of immune suppressants (cyclosporin, azathioprine, colchicine, methotrexate, interferon) and it responds well to a bunch of monoclonal antibodies with very cool names if you really can't stomach any of those.
While the leg ulcers are a possible symptom of Behcet's, it is extremely atypical for people to get ulcers on their legs to begin with, and you honestly just don't get to that point when you have a diagnosis and you're receiving appropriate treatment with immunosuppression + anticoagulants. It's something that happens rarely, mostly to untreated men (males have more aggressive forms than females).
Being a woman, having a diagnosis, receiving treatments and being like this would be... unheard of.

At the same time, she was... just fine, beside the disgusting legs? She has the super rare symptom that you get when your condition is completely out of fucking control and you have severe thrombosis, but she doesn't get any of the standard symptoms that almost everyone gets. No mouth ulcers, her eyes were completely unfazed, no mention of painful genital ulcers, no arthritis, no erythema nodosum, no neurological symptoms. She's good.

Sorry for the sperging.

Damn, they took her legs above the knee. That’s actually really not good for prosthetics. I don’t think this is powerleveling so I’ll share this tidbit of info I recently learned. I work with a couple of guys that have prosthetic legs, both amputated below the knee and both with batshit crazy stories associated with the leg loss. One of the guys developed an infection on his stump a couple months back and the other guy was super worried. I didn’t get it so he gave me a lesson in stump 101.

Leg amputees run a really high risk of repeat amputation so you have to care for your stump religiously. Infections on the stump are extremely high risk because they can move to the bone like lightning and then you’re going to lose more bone/stump length. The longer the stump, the better success with post amputation mobility and prosthetic fit/use - something about the muscles.

Picky pants is going to be wheelchair bound and struggle significantly with learning mobility and being successful with prosthetics. She’s also going to need to be babysat and require constant medical care because her stumps are going to be a goldmine of opportunity for self harm.

The bitch has the nerve to sound cheery. I have only just discovered this entire charade and oh boy... Btw I don't think the string was really a nerve, nerves are way thinner...

Either way, I wanted to say that, having worked as a pianist in a renowned ballet, I saw first-hand what the little girls who begin their training have to endure. Physical strain is only one part of it - the greater half is psychological. I am really not surprised that one ballerina just snapped and went batshit crazy. The girls are taught competitiveness since as young as 5yo and they're raised in rivalry with the other girls over many things - who gets the solo, who gets accepted into ballet high school etc. Most of them just grow up to be insufferable bitches with fucked up knees, ankles and just feet in general. This one went stark staring mad instead. If you saw that one episode of The Simpsons where Lisa went to a ballet school, it's not even much of a caricature, if anything, it's presented a little lighter. The girls even start smoking really early, around 13-ish.

tl;dr I used to work in ballet - fuck ballet, it destroys children and young girls.
