Is this recent? I don’t remember her eyes being this fucky...View attachment 2155347View attachment 2155348
This is the face of true madness - true, pure madness. This may be the creepiest thing I've seen on KF yet. It's not the lazy eye (though that doesn't help), it's the sheer joy and disconnect from reality that this is a woman who destroyed her own legs and is in absolute hog heaven for it. It's uncomfortable on a level that unnerves the very basic humanity in me.

These pictures of her weird me out and are more disconcerting than the raw wound pictures.

It is like the face Pennywise makes right before he drags you down the storm drain.

Is that a nip slip?
Yeah you can definitely see some tit in that picture, but then this is the same chick who posted her full bush on Instagram..

Her lazy eye has been getting worse, I suspect the fact that she's been on hard opiates for years has smth to do with it. She's aware of it and claims she is very self conscious abt it, but hasn't done anything to correct it (altho at some point she was saying she will).
I heard rumours that she intentionally exaggerated the apparent exotropia of it to look more sickly in her photos. She also seems to have trinchotilomania (hence the weird eyebrows / eyelashes), which probably contributes to her eyes looking abnormally bulbous.

Umm, what? That is pretty fucked up. Is there reasoning for that other than weird US law?
It depends on the situation and the type of restraints being used. You don't really expect us to put the patient in a straightjacket and hand him his walker. Things like glasses, external hearing aids - if the patient smashes theirs in the moment, it might not be replaceable.

Contact lenses are different - no one is prying them out of your eyes, you are requested to take them out yourself because do you want them in your eyes for 24+ hours.

If you are being "sectioned" round here, 90% of the time it is because you are high on meth and just ate your eyeballs in front of us.

I have not personally seen that exact scenario, but it is apparently really common. I have seen a meth addict punch through the ceiling though and that was just as impressive imo.

not a professional, just an interested observer, but the NHS is well keen on those IV antibiotics that are more or less Domestos. I think it’s pretty common to get 48 hours on a drip and then 5 days of oral antibiotics. Whether this is to some kind of prophylactic strategy I could not say but if it is then I would imagine it’s something that is less widespread now than previously due to the hospital-loving superbugs it no doubt contributed to.

Considering the state of this woman’s legs tho, she will surely be getting a week long dose of the ol’ IV domestos?

I have administered pre-surgical prophylactic antibiotics and the procedure is similar, but post-surgical ... we apply iodine and honey to the surgery sites. [gets laughed off the farms]

So is involuntary commitment only a thing in the US if you are flailing all limbs around wildly, trying to tear your face off or something similar?

I was not trained, nor do I practice in the US. I have colleagues who were trained in the US and are completing their residency or fellowships here, and though it has ceased since the pandemic, I have had patients who are from US and gave me some uh, valuable insights to the US health insurance system.

I am totally biased against the US and the entirety of the US medical system may as well be Dr Florida Man, M.D. to me.

My understanding is that laws relating to healthcare and treatment varies by state, and that hospitals flat out do not exist in rural areas. As a result, patients may end up technically interstate for treatment, and this causes a lot of confusion.

I am happy to discuss anything further via PM considering Kelly lives in Canada and this is rather irrelevant to the thread. Or perhaps a US medfag can step up.

Kelly so far has never uploaded videos of herself actually picking at the wounds, all her videos were like "here is my latest progress". This might change though.

she's getting the antibiotics IV because she's septic. she was in a septic crisis and they need to get larger amounts in, fast.

There's nothing prophylactic about it, she was harboring a massive infection through her entire system.

Honey and pills are for normal people. (Surgical honey and surgical maggots and leeches are real, nobody laugh or I'll find photos for you.)

Guys, I have a feeling her doctors have amputated the wrong limbs.
Their first mistake was not consulting the Farms prior to writing the order for the surgery.

I cannot imagine having both your legs hacked off and being so fucking positive about it. Her optimism is so disconcerting.
It won't last. She's already posted a video about how hard it is to brush her teeth without her legs. As the drugs start to wear off and she keeps discovering new mundane things she can't do anymore it'll start to dawn on her just how much she's lost and that it's gone forever. How she handles that realization is yet to be seen, but I'm investing in bulk-packed popcorn because it's going to be fucking hilarious.

I can't tell if she's happy about the amputation or if it's the drugs elevating her mood. She's on Fent but seems energetic and chipper so that's weird.
Her being as chipper as she’s been is pushing me into further believing this was always her endgame. All of that “I will not lose my legs”, “not an option”, “never discussed” bullshit was just that. Kelly playbook - let it get unbelievably worse than it has been, fake another account hacking, go radio silent to ‘concern’ people further, then pop back up as a double amputee posting more in 2 days than in the last 3 months. This is absolutely exciting for her.

Sorry, totally forgot that she lives in Canada. So yeah, that question was in regards to your system over there. But I guess, I could google it or something.
