Only at the consumer level. The biggest issue with recycling plastics is that many types are not compatible with each other. At the consumer level there is really no way to separate these out. There is plenty of plastic recycling at the industrial level of things like bad parts, extra raw pellets, etc... however what makes it viable is the fact that the volume is large and the separation is already done. Because you know exactly what the input is it’s relatively simple to just remelt it and reuse it.
