That line has been crossed for a while. People are just noticing because of the simpspiracy trashfire and it was the perfect storm to bring light to all of the people who had issue with Dax. A lot of people didn't know a lot of things because Dax manipulates people, builds good will, then hints at what he wants while not explicitly saying it in order to deny responsibility. Dax is an incredible con man for what it's worth, he had the most skeptical people in the world (internet trolls) believing he was an engineer who graduated from Cal Tech.

Before the simpspiracy he had the Mint drama, the Asterios fall out, and the artist revolt. He'd make up what ever narative he wanted and just keep pushing it, facts be damned. Dax believed everyone who trolled on the internet was his personal army and became obsessed with his image rather than being funny.

Because he hated to be the one to be laughed at, he lost NP2, is now known primarily as a pedophile, and is considered a bigger creep than George.

He is a self admited psychopath. All he cares about is dopamine and winning. Admitting he looked a fool would mean taking an L, and after all when you believe you have a personal army who will defend you no matter what and have just spun the narative however you wanted before why take an L and deny your dopamine rush from winning and being a winner that totally wins cause they are a winner?

I'm not sure. They were going after a lot of grifters at the time. He is tied to Rekieta and Rekeita is the grifting champion. Toad dealt with Dax and they talked about Toad McJudas's super monetization. They were critiquing Metokur, who had been so vocal against making money online and suddenly had merch and monthly payment subscription sites, infamously on np2. There was also fan crossover. I was referencing the vote PPP had last year where Rekieta won the Grifting championship. I've heard Rekieta is wrong frequently about the cases he covers and milked that voice actor case for every drop it was worth. There was a stream he did surrounded by toys in cat ears and shorty shorts showing his feet to appeal to his audience (he said it was a joke). I know people comment about the guy he regularly does the show with being the black bull. I don't pay attention to Rekieta that much so I could have missed something. I still think Dick is funny, especially when he gets really pissed off, but the cast of retarded orbiters he has [aside from Sean] are especially tiresome. He's definitely a degen and I don't know why he chose to die on that particular hill but he's still funny. I guess I view his work the same way I do musicians. It's in this thread from a blog (the one where he was ripping off Maddox's style of writing) and he has mentioned it breifly on the show (He says that dropping out of college worked for him) but Dax dropped out of Cal-Tech, meaning Maddox's 1 math test away from graduating the university of Utah with a degree in mathematics is further than Dax got to obtaining a degree from Cal-Tech with a degree in computer engineering.

This should of been obvious to us as every website he makes is a shitty poorly made word press blog and even then he can't be bothered to click update on plugins.
