Now that the immune system has shifted into third gear there’s also less oxygen and food to go around so then your muscles have to switch to anaerobic respiration as if you were exercising; there’s your fatigue and muscle aches. Now your digestive system has to pause on certain parts because goddammit I don’t want to digest food right now, I want pictures of Spiderman more B and T cells so just pull food from the fat reserves for now; there’s your stomach problems (and a very negligible amount of weight loss.

Eventually things will settle down and you’ll stop feeling like shit, but now your adaptive immune system is better than ever.
