Sounds like the "users" of the site are now the people posting to it, not the readers.

If it wasnt for ED, I would have never heard of nick bate, Chris, adf, and other lolcows. ED also got me over a bad stretch when my awful exgirlfriend left me for this douchebag who promised her that he would make her internet famous and I found he had an ED article. It holds a fond place in my heart much like newgrounds, fugly, seanbaby, etc do for me.

I honestly don't know why you two are having a dickmeasuring contest over which site is better. Both sites have an intrinsic value. It's not like we are arguing about wizardchan or wrongplanet here

Dick measuring is a no-contest. I'm here as an ambassador and to periodically comment in threads. I like this forum, beats the hell out of Facepunch or SA.

This. Honestly, this whole kiwifarms.net vs ED "war" is retarded imo since we don't really have much difference with a similarity of laughing at idiots. ED is just more popular and I still like ED for its great articles on lolcows despite its flaws. Heck, we are still using ED links when discussing lolcows and this is proof of how good ED is.

I will be blunt, I am a bit cautious simply because some of their last representatives really made bad impression(ex: LordWulfington and some of their other visitors). Strangely, @Likeicare and @Wilkins seem pretty cool and now I actually feel bad about my first thoughts about them.

My issue with ED can pretty much be summed up with this:

That photo is the current photo of Damien Hall - Cartoon Freak. The same guy who wrote the Mr. Enter Article and sparked a lot of the recent intersite drama. The same idiot who has now dragged us into the Entersphere mess and now is dragging this site into drama with you all.

Look long and hard at that. The guy has now graduated HS and is still mad at a man in his mid 20's who does spastic cringey reviews of Children's Cartoons.

you have to remember that generally any members of EDF that come here normally do it right after they've been run off our site and still want to use our name

i like to think of it as a symbiotic relationship. i see no reason why there can't be crossover. we regularly get lolcows here bringing content that can be added to your articles while we also use information from your site and forums for our threads.

gmail, same account I used to sign up for ED proper but I forgot to add that in when I signed up for EDF cause I only ever used it once to call Null a child murderer who reads all our private messages? Would that affect it?

Just like ours do on other sites. 8chan has an entire section of /cow/ dedicated to that. It got bumped so often it hit its limit and now you can't find the original thread.

/cow/ is still a bit mad to have to deal with our Mr. Enter kids. I really don't blame them either. :sigh:
