Muslims, however, don’t have the same resources and they don’t tend to mesh well with western society when they try to settle in other countries. Just look at some of the issues Europe has had ever since mass immigration began. The average Muslim in the currently contested area is poor as fuck and their government is trash. What other choice do they have but to fight for the land they feel belongs to them and make the best of it once they’ve secured a home? I feel like the Muslims in Palestine genuinely feel like they’re doing the right thing and Israel is just being a dick for the sake of being a dick. It’s not that they want Israel, it’s that they don’t want the Muslims taking it. It’s almost like the political equivalent of flex culture.
Arab Muslims, and to a certain extent, other Muslims, have only themselves to blame. You can't ignore that at one time Muslims were the dominant power in the ME and even in certain areas of Europe. They were wealthy, their treasuries were vast and Muslims were the most techologically advanced society during the Dark and early Middle Ages.
How did they do this? Well, they went out and basically presented the occupants of the land they wanted with an ultimatum: give us your land and accept us as your rulers; if you convert to our religion we may decide to treat you fairly, otherwise we take it, kill all the males and enslave your women and children. They did the latter more often than the former. They created the first international slavery network,
which is still in operation in the present day.
Muslims ran through the Middle East, North Africa and the Iberian Penninsula. At their peak they control so much territory and wealth they were the envy of every Western nation. But the Umayyad and Abbasid Caliphates were also dissolute, corrupt and ideologically rigid. There was so much infighting their empire began to crumble and by the time of the Spanish Reconquista they were forced to retreat into Turkey, parts of North Africa and Middle East. The caliphate was no longer in command and Muslims were ruled by local sheikhs, part of the Ottoman Empire in name only.
They have been on a downward spiral every since. One reason, besides the religious and ethnic infighting is the genetic bottleneck they've created by allowing consanguineous marriage, particularly by favoring first cousin marriage. All because Muhammad, in the sixth century AD said it was OK.
A group of people that once encouraged and supported scientific exploration, architecture, literacy and preserved ancient scientifc and literary texts and encouraged poets, writers and artists has devolved into a violent, illiterate and inbred mob.
If you suscribe to the belief the Jews somehow tricked the poor Arabs and stole their land, Arabs not only did it many times in many lands, they didn't ask permission or pay compensation. They took what they wanted, in the most violent and brutal manner possible.
Muslims are not being victimized, they're just getting as taste of what they've done to others. I don't feel sorry for them at all.
