Not like my opinion on this matters that much, but I’m siding with Israel because they are a sovereign nation and have a right to defend themselves against Hamas. That said, I’m really not super invested in this beyond how the US will react to it because that will probably affect me more. Finally, I am married to a Jew, so I have obvious bias. As a side note though: I’d rather the US withdraw out of the region entirely and be more isolationist. Let the people there sort it out on their own.

It might hurt an international globohomo corporation's profit margins. They aren't "us."

I assume most pictures on social media like this are either fake, old, or both. until proven otherwise. Everything regarding Israel and Palestine is a nonstop propaganda war.

If anyone has TicTok on their phone then maybe you can get some more information from the source because I see some people posting clips from Palestine on there. I'll never install that shitware on my phone, though. It's a shame that these guys aren't like us Americans that walk around livestreaming every minor event and arrest.

If the flow of trade through the Canal gets disrupted for any extended period of time for any reason you can forget about cheap and easy consoomer life until it gets going again

Geopolitics doesn't care if you say nuh-uh. America leaves entirely, Russia and China move in, then they're in a stronger position and this rather magnanimous move of America's isn't going to change their foreign policies towards the USA

I don't understand why "Israel is better armed" is a reason to side with them from a moral perspective.
You're not offering any material support, only moral support. So just siding with power seems silly.
