Well if you don't include the infamous wolverine toy story, he seems to come off as this incredibly pampered and ungrateful kid growing up. His attitude towards materialistic possessions like all his cars he spent money on, the enormous DVD collection he once had and pop culture statues probably reflects how he was brought up, in order to make our boy Phil happy, we're gonna buy all the action figures and comics books he wants and deserves !

And in doing so they embedded this greedy mentality and molded the spoiled scumbag we see today.

Remember when he got his parents to come to Washington and essentially got them to renovate half of the fucking house for him, like the backyard pavement, the garden and something to do with the blinds in his house?

He easily could have found time to do this himself, on his days off or during stream breaks, but no, they specifically flew over there in order to do some major housework for Phil because he was incapable of doing it on his own (or at the very least, he could have paid someone to install all that furniture for him).

So you might say that his parents probably might not have much of a backbone for whatever reason, and that may be true, but that actually makes Phil look like even more of a scumbag as he essentially exploits his parents generosity despite them "not having much longer to live" as he calls it.

Ultimately, I think it says enough about how Phil truly feels about his parents the fact that he moved as far away from them as he possibly could without leaving the states, and makes no effort to see them on his own dime and own time.

I know that there are theories given such as DSP wanted to get Leanna away from her family or something, but DSP's cross country move is very understated in DSP lore. I still don't know why he moved to WA (short of "the first place that he liked") or why he left CT at all. It's not like DSP takes advantage of living near Seattle or has any reason to be there. He's literally made no acquaintances there in five years. His job means he could literally live anywhere in the country with decent internet speed. He never even attempted to rent or sell the CT condo (probably because he bought it at it's peak and doesn't understand how sunk costs work). It's just fascinating to me.

Actually, the Wolverine toy story is what brings his spoiled nature into perspective. The fact that he, so many years later, was still so visibly butt-hurt about the one thing he didn't get, makes it very clear that he was quite used to getting what he wanted, and that that's what it looks like when life fails to acknowledge the Golden Rule of Phil's universe. You see the same thing, after all, when his retards aren't hitting the tips goal fast enough. He doesn't handle it well, and not just because he's an asshole in general.

Phil is the perfect example of an extreme case of being an only child raised by overly-pampering parents. If they were Kardashian-rich, their son would probably be a lot more infamous than he is, because he would've wound up on some reality TV show instead of aiming a camera at his TV while sucking at video games.

I don't think Phil really thought about the separation so much as he just didn't care that he was doing it. He's incredibly self-absorbed, as we know. The move was about him, for him, just as all things are. You can see this at play during every stream, when people inquire about things he himself brings up, and it's a violation in his eyes because him bringing it up is for him, no one else. It's why his streams are in actually a monologue, not a dialogue. He has no interest in connecting with others, while at the same time being demanding of attention when he feels like basking in it, because he's used to getting it when he wants it and not having to reciprocate.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: if Phil wasn't such a coward, he would probably be a serial killer.

The thing that says a lot about Phil is that since Leanna left, her life has exponetially improved. Phil meanwhile has gone from bad to worse. Phil is someone who views everything around him as objects that he can make money off. I would imagine the horse is having some serious life choices regrets. Phil is absolutely fucked in soo many ways at this point, addiction especially to gambling will fuck you up long term and he is so far in now its hopeless. He has no conviction to change anything and I for one am really enjoying watching his life burn around him.

Phil was the same with Leanna. When they first moved to Renton, Phil talked about all the things he could do now, all the gaming conventions and shit he was going to go to. And he did absolutely nothing. This was back in 2014 when Phil still had some semblance of being a functional human being.

I don't think you're entirely wrong about the trophy aspect of having a wife, I've said previously I don't think they have sex and it's been speculated they have separate bedrooms.... It sounds about right to me.

But I also don't see how it adds up. We know Phil is lazy as shit, why would he stream 6 days a week if he didn't need to? Why wouldn't he go on holidays or at least the occasionally weekend away?

Phil has no self control, he's living a perpetual childhood. He spends all his money as soon as he gets it (WWE Champions) and doesn't possess the ability to budget to any kind of degree. Phil spends $3000 per year to get his PayPal money instantly instead of waiting for two days. He's clearly addicted, he clearly can't think into the future.

The qualities we know of him do not line up with secretly hiding cash. He could have easily had a baller wedding and hid it from people, he hid the wedding really well... I don't think Phil is lying when he says he has no money, I think that's correct because that's what happens when you continually spend it all.

So my point is that Kat not only know about his gacha addiction and all his lies, she also helps Phil milk those retards (remember that Kat hates Phil's fans too). Not for free though, I think he gets desperate for money when Kat asks for something expensive.

Well, we'll never know for sure, but at least that's how I see this situation. It's really unlikely that she doesn't have a clue about his finances.

Couple of reasons, no state taxes, no snow, no tornadoes, summers aren't terrible and minimal basketball American impact in Renton. Compare that to the runner-up state he considered moving to Florida.

Bottom line must be Leana wanted to. Phil has no will of his own, he has no goals or motivations. Anything he does that require effort means either someone forced him to or someone got the idea in his head. Another theory is that the guy that told him to shut the fuck up when he was screaming actually confronted him and he wanted to run away, but for this to be true he would have bought a house instead of another khando, so I personally think Leana wanted to.

Moving is a big thing to do, and if he wanted to flex he would have bought a roughly same cost house in a cheaper state that would be nicer instead of a shitty middle unit condo in a gated community full of ching chong chang wang.
