The Ovarit community is made up of a broader group of people. Ovarit is open to women of all persuasions. Men are allowed to join some conversations, but must respect boundaries. This corner of the internet is one of increasingly few places, real or virtual, unapologetically dedicated to prioritizing and centering women.

While many of our subcommunities (called circles) are explicitly feminist, others are simply about topics that are relevant to women, and are not overtly political except to the extent that women's existence has been politicized.

There have been some topics that have caused continued confusion on the site. One is the misconception that some people have had that Ovarit is a women-only website (that users are all women, or that men are told not to register or somehow are barred, or that men are site-banned for admitting they are men). This is not the case. It's not that we didn't consider trying it, it's that we considered it and decided not to do that.

This disappoints some, but we did make sure this was stated in our documentation before we launched.

We require that moderators are women. The Ovarit admins are radical feminist women. Communities must be women-centered, but we do not currently believe that we have to somehow ban every male from the site to achieve that. We do not believe it is possible on a site like this to do that. All posts and comments are public to anyone on the internet, and although we currently have invite codes, they are not permanent and eventually anyone will be able to register an account. This is, ultimately, a public internet forum. This is not a "safe space," though it will always be women-run and women-centered

It isn't contradictory if one takes it from the prospective that anything, especially anything sexual, that benefits a woman is good and anything that benefits a man is bad. A man benefitting in any regard is seen as a horrific thing.

Prostitution is bad because a man can get off with a single payment. He isnt getting down on his knee and asking some goddess to take pity on him. Of course they dress this up in stuff about how women are trafficked and abused. Which are valid points, but not every woman is abused or trafficked.

There was one thread that made the argument that stripping and prostitution were bad because in an all women world it wouldn't exist. Which is hilarious for how naive it is.

Most women are straight, most of these women are therefore straight. Except their radical feminism in all likelihood denies them fulfilling relationships with men. They feel deined this because society is patriarchal and therefore very abusive towards gender critical women. Or as they would put, women who have woken up to their slavery. And because they are deined a complete wholesome relationship with a man, they think nobody else deserves a healthy relationship with all the benefits there in.

I think prostitution and trannies are the only thing they have sort of good points on. Sort of, they always have to fuck it up. Prostitution, in that liberal feminism has failed a lot of people by trivializing sex work into girlbossing, when like 80% of sex work (especially, especially worldwide - especially prostitution, porn ranks up there) is in varying degrees fucked up situations involving desperation and drugs. But the irony is a radfem whining about how out-of-touch with real life libfems are about sex work, then going on to explain that the key problem with sex work is how there is no consent in labor under capitalism, therefore it's all rape. They're usually good at toning it down to just man-hating, which I'm sure (somewhat reasonably) works with former sex workers on the worse side of things, so they don't get offended by comparing brutal rapes to some pathetic old man paying for a blowjob. People without trauma can easily connect the dots though, and radfems are in this perpetual surprise that their ideology isn't mainstream.

Also note, promiscuity isn't really agreed upon in radfem circles, it's really more of a libfem thing they'll shit on. If they're not advocating for political lesbianism, it's shaming women for giving it up to men who don't "deserve" it. The more promiscuous ones (radfems-ish ones) I borderline respect, because they can have this dark American psycho kind of view of the world, like they believe incel ideology mixed with radical feminism (like, acknowledging all the "benefits" of being a woman, but still think it's patriarchial suck) but have decided to try and be the ultimate (or good enough for what they want) stacy/girl-chads. You can see a few of them on places r/pinkpillfeminism on Reddit. But most of those places devolve into actual incel-like "why aren't there good men who deserve me." The lipstick alt-radfems who just casually think men are scum usually don't make great lolcows though and don't have great internet rants other than some occassional screeds on their disdain for short men and small peens that are more hilarious for the responses than anything else.

women working full time jobs instead of having families benefits different actors in different ways

capitalists benefit from it:

>a woman working a job and buying products generates more economic activity and cash flow than a woman who works at home and makes her family more self-sufficient

the state benefits from it:
>a woman working a job for an employer can be taxed for everything she creates, a woman working at home for her family can't be taxed at all
>a woman working a job will send her children to state education instead of raising them at home, which means more govt influence over child rearing and easier indoctrination

enemies of the people benefit from it:

>population decline means slow death of the entire people
