The fujoshis used to do the same back in the early 00's. If you pointed out they were straight girls schlicking it to two gay dudes, they'd bombard you with rants about it wasn't fetishism and how they were totes just for gay rights, you guys. Time is a flat fucking circle, yadda yadda yadda. Just say you're horny and go.
The endless cycle of stupidity, everyone.

While I browsed through Pillowfort, I might've found an explaination for those headcanons.

I'm just including this one here, because I thought the nose was a villain-stache, which is still hilarious to me.

View attachment 2164941View attachment 2164947I mean, it's apparent that's just overcompensation, but those people always chose the biggest and burliest men for their trans headcanons.
it's hilarious how blatant the satanic trans humanist imagery is on full display, truly pawns of ZOG indeed

I don't think the drama surrounding Tribbleofdoom and her series My Pride is big enough for its own thread but I do find the drama kinda funny yet typical. A woke activist being slowly picked at and cannibalized by her own kind. My Pride is a youtube series about gay lions (despite there being a rather drastic lack of gayness). Most of the criticism focuses on bad writing and "The gay lions aren't gay enough! and/or are toxic!" Also, Tribble seems to be a bit of a bitch. Used BLM to promote her gay lion show, mis-genders cast members, allegedly misused money, and is overall a bad writer who doesn't know wtf she is doing. some callout doc stuff.
From here it is claimed she used funding money to buy herself a $2000 Wacom Cintiq among other financial sketchiness. There are other docs that seem to focus on Tribble being transphobic and/or mean or short with her team members. If you want to see them I'll link them. Most of it appears to be about social perception and Tribble teetering on the verge of getting herself canceled.

Trailer for Season 1.

A near 3 hour long rant about the series so far pointing out everything wrong. Only watch if you care...its a long watch.
If you do I have to warn you, the video creator is one of them thar butch lesbian types, and she is astringently against/dislikes men/male characters and doesn't care about their troubles and trials in comparison to the female characters. I find it hypocritical although she is right about most everything else presented in the video.
I find it funny how often lgbt representation falls off the rails. Or it turns out the writers, who are lgbt themselves, are utterly insane. In this case I don't believe Tribble is insane but it is like a Vivzie Pop scenario. A person panders to a certain set of people but she isn't as in lock-step as her patrons, creating a faction that loudly hates her and are ready to rip her off her pedestal the moment she slips.

There are also videos talking about issues of ableism in the series that are much shorter. But they all seem to be made by little kids. I don't feel truly comfortable posting videos made by kids here.

Late as fuck, sorry. I haven't been in this thread in ages and I was going back to find that guy that kept making Instagram stories about this thread.

Anyways, I never expected this person to still be around! Or at least using the same name they've been using for like, 10 years. Maybe more. I heard about My Pride, and the moment I saw those fucking eyes I went "Is that Tribble of Doom?"

So, here's my sperging about the little bit I remember about Tribble of Doom, from back around 2010 when I was a dumb child on the internet watching furry YouTube animations.

Tribble of Doom was mostly popular for her Warrior Cats animations. I think she even did a series about Warrior Cats. They all had bad voice acting, a weird ass style (complete with blurry black shading!), and they weren't amazingly animated. But to give them credit, they had to be in their early or mid teens. And some of them were really complex animations. They were definitely doing a lot more complex shit than any other animator I remember at the time.

I don't remember her as a person, as this was before social media like Twitter and Tumblr really took off. But I'm not surprised she jumped on the SJW train. I think a lot of the less edgy furry animators did.

One thing I think I remember about her was she made a video calling out the company that makes Kit-Kats, because they were apparently using palm oil, which was made from endangered palm trees? I know it was a furry artist that made that video, and I really think it was her. But seeing as this was 10+ years ago, I might be wrong.

I just checked out her YouTube channel, and a lot of shit is gone. I know she used to do Warrior Cat shit, I remember it distinctly. It's where she got this really weird eye style. I don't know how to explain it honestly, it was kind of a gradient but with really strange shading.

One of her series I remember as a kid actually went on for a few years, which is pretty surprising. Here's the first episode so you can get a taste of Tribble of Doom and my childhood.

Actually shit I found some of her Warrior Cats stuff. Here you go, this is the weird eye style I was talking about. It was this specific character as well that had the weirdest eyes. Just the way she drew cats in general was weird. Very distinct though, I'll give her that. I recognized her modern shit from her old ass style.

Warrior Cats stuff
Oh, that's a bullet I've allegedly dodged at an age of 12-ish or something, when dad refused to buy me this book. I wasn't a furry back then, btw. Name of the book just sounded cool. Don't think it would've made me into one, but who knows? I did buy myself three books of Alan Dean Foster's Spellsinger some years later, and it didn't turn me into a furry, while it being a story about a guy being summoned in a medieval world full of actual anthropomorfic talking animals, and not whatever it was in warrior cats

Wasn't that bad of a book, by the way, espechially if you don't know what a furry is. Speaking of which, is it popular with furries? Because, looking back I can't remember this been mentioned ever, let alone seeing any art.

If so, absolutely not. I’ve never heard of this, and I only found this piece of fan art after a quick search.

My theory as to why Warrior Cats got so popular is cause 1. Kids like talking animals and 2. It’s EXTREMELY edgy. And this was around 2009 so scene/emo shit, while dying, was still popular,

Isee it around every now and again in SJW spaces. I’ve seen a lot of “LGBT headcanons” for the cats, gay ship art, redesigning them to be even edgier, ect. For a lot of people it’s a nostalgia thing now. They like to draw the cats in the style of their early 2010’s favorite artist (Usually in an emo style, with edgy bangs. Those tended to be the most popular),

I’ll see if I can dig up some of the SJW Warriors art just to add something on topic to the thread.

I’d love to dump “”””the classics””””” animations somewhere. They’re so bad. Really just a testament to a simpler time.

Edit: a word.

didn't really mind everything else from the astro boy drawings besides the first two since its easy to think of edgy things for the series and that they look more like the characters themselves but

like they could've at least kept the og hair on him instead of making it unrecognizable, like that's definitely a hairline and not a fringe , looks more like a human AU for Karkat from Homestuck or something similar

not entirely sure if this counts as full on sjw art but i was checking ig tags for bara art to see if it's as bad or worse when it comes to sjw infection but the ambiguity on the character being mtf or ftm transitioning is fucking hilarious when considering the tags

otherwise, art could have been almost fine if it weren't for the head and hand
the rest of their art is fine as it is, they have some variety but the white gel pen ruins a lot of it for me since its being over-applied too much

Yes, this is it. And, belive me, that was, as we'd say now, a quality shitpost. The premise of the first two books was
that this turtle guy, a wizard, tried to summon a poweful outworld mage en-jee-nir, because his scrying told him that's somebody who can stop immenient bad thing. Protagonist, a law student, got dragged into it because, first, his official job name was "sanitation engineer", second, he was high on weed, so his mind was easiest to reach. First thing that happens with him is he gets stabbed with a sword a little for being stupid and thinking he's still high and this wasn't actually happening. Then he finds out, that here his garage-band experience combined with a wierd double guitar lets him do magic.
Another highlight is when the group tries to cross a river by summoning some marine creatures, but get themselves a dragon, because all other significant lifeforms either ran away or were eaten. And the dragon wants to eat them, but he's a dragon of culture, so he allows them to try and answer his impossible riddle and let them go if they do. The riddle is "What is the fundamental attribute of human nature and of all similar natures?" And the protagonist manages to answer, because he's a law student from 70-s liberal college and knows some basics of marxism. He manages to recruit the dragon for the cause. But shortly after dragon leaves after torching a sentient plant colony which wanted to turn everybody into a fertilizer, because that was, by his words, and ideal communal organism. He fucks off, but returns at the very end.
Yeah, the end. It's only there that we understand, why the hell an engineer was required. Besides the regular furries, there are insect furries. They are sentiend, but hugely depend on groupthink and hate all non-insect living beings. From time to time they gather a big army and attack furries. But furries aren't that concerned, because bugs are unimaginative and only use W+M1 strategy. But this time shit is different, because bugs act much smarter. That's because grand wizard of bugs managed to summon an U.S. military computer that teached bugs how to tactics and how to make explosives. Furries almost lose, but dragon conveniently comes back and tilts the advantage back, so computer advices bug wizard to use a nuke, which he tries to summon, but gets fried right before.
Quite epic for a furry shit, I'd say.
While this book isn't edjy, I wouldn't call it completly child-friendly too. I do belive there was a scene of a furry striptease described, plus there was pot, gambling. booze, etc. But nothing too explicit, i think. Shit has a dank premise, but works in a more or less beliveable way. But considering it was written in '83, it was more of a Disney fairy-tale spoof, not a furry(who might've still been Funny Animals Fandom at the time) thing.
