I like Larian overall, just a ridiculous state of affairs.Larian at this point has the best track record out of any of them.

Being a Vorcha engineer was amazing, having dual flamethrowers made short work of damn near every enemy. The multiplayer was a cocktease of a game where you could play as other races. Krogan shaman was great.
God that looks like shit. Why do they feel the need to make quarians just look like basic bitch humans with slightly different skin? They're fucking aliens, make them look like it.
God fucking damn they managed to make her stick out so badly she looks like a transparent jpeg they slapped on top of the background.Original:

A+, quality work, definitely not the diversity hires upscaling textures, tweaking the lighting sliders and calling it a day. Totally worth your $60, not a cash grab at all.
I'm fairly certain BioWare never owned the Baldur's Gate IP and that Wizards of the Coast has always owned it.why is fucking Larian making Baldur's Gate 3 oh yeah cause they sold one of their most beloved properties.
I liked playing as a volus biotic god.The fun in the multiplayer was it allowed for racial roleplaying. Can't play a Volus Shepard in single player after all.
Yeah you're probably right. Fuck man just kills me that none of the people who worked on BG have been at Bioware for years.I'm fairly certain BioWare never owned the Baldur's Gate IP and that Wizards of the Coast has always owned it.
Not like they'd make a good one these days, anyway. The Dragon Age series is basically Baldur's Gate but in their own world.Yeah you're probably right. Fuck man just kills me that none of the people who worked on BG have been at Bioware for years.
Actually it's Hasbro.I'm fairly certain BioWare never owned the Baldur's Gate IP and that Wizards of the Coast has always owned it.
The original picture of Tali was a stock photograph they made purple.imagine a remaster in 2021 having less features than quake 1 from 1996.
so tali is brown now. because that's apparently how skin reacts wearing aburqasuit all day every day for generations. sure this has nothing to do with any idpol shit either.
I also have the lingering suspicion they did it so they don't have to pay the original artist.
the "original" back then wasn't that great, but by now is pretty much considered canon. nice going fucktards, you can't even remaster your own fucking games from less than a decade ago without shitting it up in the process.
for the life of me I'll never understand why EA never capitalized more on the franchise, especially the hype before 3, and do something else with mass effect. all you got were some shitty books and comics. just imagine a mass effect battlefield, even as dlc... fuck even a standalone horde shooter would've probably made bank. mindboggling retarded. It's good they removed the multiplayer requirements for the best ending but I'm genuinely gutted they removed MP altogether. I spent more hours in that than the main game.
Anything but Andromeda would have been a success. They could have even made a strategy game set during the the First Contact War between the Turians and Alliance.for the life of me I'll never understand why EA never capitalized more on the franchise, especially the hype before 3, and do something else with mass effect. all you got were some shitty books and comics. just imagine a mass effect battlefield, even as dlc... fuck even a standalone horde shooter would've probably made bank. mindboggling retarded.

I don't understand the thinking behind Andromeda at all. They spent all this time and effort crafting an interesting sci-fi setting, which was so entertaining that it was able to overshadow horrible writing flaws, and then they just...ditched that setting? and expected the gameplay to stand on its own?Anything but Andromeda would have been a success. It has all the hallmarks of being pushed by middle management, who has little clue on what the consumer wants except "MASS EFFECT" and "MAKE IT SO THAT ITS DIFFERENT FROM 3 SINCE MARKETING SAID PEOPLE DISLIKED IT". And of course, the studio whom they entrusted this to was incompetent, so it simply spiraled from there. Oh, and Bioware Montreal got shuttered after Andromeda, to tell you how bad the fuck up was.I don't understand the thinking behind Andromeda at all. Who then, if I'm not mistaken, had members who went on to create Digital Scapes and get hired by CDPR to work on Cyberpunk 2077 because NO ONE IN THIS INDUSTRY LEARNS A DAMN THING.It has all the hallmarks of being pushed by middle management, who has little clue on what the consumer wants except "MASS EFFECT" and "MAKE IT SO THAT ITS DIFFERENT FROM 3 SINCE MARKETING SAID PEOPLE DISLIKED IT". It was a failure on the technical side and the writing side. They didn't even know what they wanted to do with the game. One director wanted huge open world maps, another wanted procedurally-generated planets for the exploration part. They've wasted more time trying to understand how Frostbite works and how to fit those ideas into it. And then you have all that awful writing and worldbuilding.I don't understand the thinking behind Andromeda at all. just imagine a mass effect battlefield
Isnt that the standard for hd remasters?I'm hearing reports that this particular remaster was outsourced to a third party. Any confirmations?
