I think the only thing I've ever enjoyed from FNAF was the Creepypastas that some of my favorite Creepypasta narrators did... and that's probably only because of the people reading it and not the actual content.
My friend gifted me FNAF so we could, like, do some sort of Let's Play of it. That really didn't go as well as we were expecting and I've tried playing it on my own and getting remarkably bored by it, and I enjoyed Slender and Surgeon Simulator. When it's basically "flail wildly around so that you can't get surprised by a robot," you lose my interest. I'm pretty sure that it's only popular because people like Markiplier said it was scary and shit.
I suppose the one thing that I've gotten from FNAF is that... people will fap to anything. They've fapped to ponies, they've fapped to gems, and now they're fapping to a bunch of machines with kids stuffed in them. If there was ever an argument that society was growing more deviant and we should be stricter about controlling sexual impulses, FNAF would be on the top of that list of complaints.
