This is also the same guy who said Mike Michaud wouldn't let memorialize Justin Carmichael only for it to be revealed to have been made up. This is why I lose respect for youtubers who blindly repeat the document as gospel truth when they make their videos bashing Doug/CA. It shows me that they do the bare minimum of research and just parrot the popular opinion so they have nothing to offer as a creator.

I think Doug said that he couldn't do Twitter because he felt that he'd just go in hot without a filter, whereas Facebook lets him write out his thoughts and get it to where he's able to talk about shit in a calmer sense.

Certainly. Solar Sands did a brief video back in 2019 on why Twitter is a bad platform for complex and nuanced discussions. The best comment I read was this:
