He probably claimed his renovations and a bunch of other stuff as ”business expenses” for the podcast, and then got told to fuck off by the IRS.
Please, please get rid of Collins.
The less people in the Senate who can enshrine Roe or otherwise sell us out, the better. This may amaze you, but you acting like getting Collins to go is a good thing is on the level of going up to a guy in the DSA, Sunrise or whatever, explaining to him how you've come up with something that will get Manchin to leave the Senate, and being surprised when he's not sad.
Wonderful. The issue is that there are lots of people who view you as a bad person.
I doubt this actually means anything because we haven't got any evidence that aliens exist so I don't know why we're claiming that they have spacecraft that are better than ours.
The way pro-abortionists act like mobs of pro-lifers are marching down the street trying to rip random women's uteruses out will never stop being funny to me.
There is the theory amongst the pro-abortion side that the right won't stop with abortion and will make illegal, once more, ALL forms of birth control as far as the slippery slope argument towards there being a pact amongst the Religious Right to basically seize the means of reproduction out of women's hands after birth control finally got mainstreamed in the late 1800s/early 1900s.
It also ties into the newest strategy of the center-left to ban all references to abortion in defending laws legalizing abortion and use weasel words such as "reproduction rights" and "pro-choice". IE reframe the debate to reflect this slippery slope meme that the right aren't just coming to ban abortion, but ALL women's heath treatment including the pill, which doctors have gotten the last couple of generations addicted to by claiming birth control can do more than just keep you from getting pregnant but is a literal wonder drug that can cure just about ANY feminine illness.
Also, there is the notion that the GOP really really don't want to recriminalize abortion the same way that the left kept dragging their feet on legalizing gay marriage until the California gay mafia forced the Supreme Court's hand. It's a huge issue that the GOP can use to drive people to the polls and fundraise off of, to the degree that it's in their best interest NEVER to bring to fruition because then they lose a MASSIVE wedge issue.
However, given how royally Roberts has fucked over the GOP by backstabbing Trump, I can't see him having any real leyway left to stop the rest of the conservative majority from banning abortion given how much harm he has done to the GOP by betraying Trump. Not unless Roberts has terrorized Kavanaugh with nightmares of the Democrats making good on their threats to impeach him from the high court for no reason save for them hating his guts, to force him to side with Roberts into sinking the case going to them for Robert's own selfish narcisistic ego relating to his "standing in history".
