Everyone else ends up small and/or like Connor Murphy.
Everyone.

This guy reminds of Fousey (or whatever his name is) and one of the Paul brothers (the least successful one).

Fake idiots who got rich by doing stupid staged pranks and dumb things on youtube for braindead morons or kids who didn't knew better.

Lately I've been out of sympathy for that kind of idiots so I'm routing for his imminent OD and death.
I wonder when you are gonna stop being mad at lolcows.

I'm assuming he has money (he has a Porsche). Why else would Jane stay with a cum-guzzling, obviously psychotic dude she only met in April of 2021? That's a lot of intense stress and danger, and for someone she barely knows.
Frankly I think she did it from the kind of savior complex that's relatively common among young women. They see a mentally ill man with no future and they say "I can save him!" like he's a sick, abandoned street kitten whom she can give a better life. She also seemed close with the mutual friend who set up their collab in the first place. I genuinely don't think she did it out of monetary interest.

As for him, I have very little optimism. Antipsychotics may help him return to sanity but he increasingly fucked his life up in the past years. If he does follow treatment, he'll find himself in a reality where his bank account is empty, his youtube career ruined and generally everything he worked for has been compromised. In theory, it's possible that he'll eventually bounce back if he gets the right support and mindset but it would not be quick and much less easy.

Even though his delusions do not seem to be of the paranoid/persecutory type -which in my experience is the worst case in terms of chances that someone will adhere to their psychiatric treatment-, he's really deep in the pseudo spiritual psycho babble rabbithole. Ayahuasca changed his whole personality, so even while sober and non psychotic he'll probably never resemble his former self again. Best case scenario he's functional but eccentric (think Jordan from Spirit Science, hopefully minus the rape). Worst case scenario is either homeless man screaming nonsense on the street or suicide.

Good. If you need drugs to transcend, you will be barred from the Kingdom of Heaven and drown in a lake of worms and flutterings things. You will be riddled with parasites. You will be named Ourobouros, and set about a rampage of self-devouring.

Dependencies of any variety are a levy paid to the Court of Hell, and of Two Eyes, and approved via stamp slid in giddy monotony across the desk of Satan.

. Being a psychedelic its rarely dangerous and isn't addictive. It however can have some bad outcomes when combined with SSRI's and anti-depressants, which this guy is definitely on. It also probably isn't good for you when you are doing it every day like this guy.
/raises hand...
Psychedelics aren't dangerous in terms of they generally don't shut down your breathing or cause shit like organ damage. But this is not to say that Psychedelic's don't lead to their own extra special kinds of dangerous, damaging and often hilariously stupid outcomes. I don't know what it is about psychedelics and heavy hallucinogens' but the most common outcome always seems to involve the loss of the subjects pants, and a desire to go jogging down major roadways at 3am. I don't know why this is, but it just is. Thankfully the majority of the users of such recreational materials tend to be pasty white college kids, and their pale bare asses show up like reflected moonlight in the oncoming cars headlights, often with enough time to swerve. If you want a halucinagen stick to pot. It at least makes the user Lazy as well as stupid. So less inclined for aerobic adventures in the wee hours.

DMT is like hang gliding: it's exhilarating, and good for you, but there is a time and a place to do it. Taking ayahuasca once every couple hours for a prolonged period of time is something that a person would only do if they were fucked in the head to begin with.

Ayahausca also makes you purge, doesn't it? Like a DMT trip on its own is fairly "clean" but an ayahausca trip gives you the hallucination PLUS cleans you out. Vomiting is part of the experience. How the fuck can he stay on it for so long and still be alive?

My understanding was that culturally, ayahausca is only meant to be taken once in your life, or at least some limited amount. You're supposed to have your big awakening, learn something from it, and move on. I guess some people are slow learners.
Ayahausca is just the name of the tea like concoction made from a couple plants, the active component of which is DMT. It seems, apart from the DMT containing plant, the only other necessary ingredient is a plant containing a monoamine oxidase inhibitor which inhibits that enzyme from breaking down the DMT when it is ingested orally. According to the wikipedia article these are a family of chemicals called harmala alkaloids and can have a purgitive effect in high enough doses, which may explain common reports of purging during ayahausca ceremonies.

Many websites sell the powdered plants which provide both the DMT as well as the harmala alkyloids necessary to make it digestible. I'm not sure if you would have to buy these substances seperately and mix them yourself, or if this guy is just buying a bunch of one and mixing it with orange juice.

There's no need to make mystical some indigenous drug taking practice. The south american forest dwellers are doing what every primitive society did before them, eating stuff around them that made them high. The spiritual experience following is cultural and phenomenological, which is not to say it is valueless or fake, just that it is not using a secret super powerful drug which has to be prepared by a shaman posessing ancient wisdom. They're just doin DMT, getting high in the woods.

MAOIs have a ton of crazy interactions. If he was on anti-depressants or any number of drugs common in bodybuilding then the MAOIs might have fucked him up even more than the DMT did.

Looking into it now, it seems like he can't have been taking SSRIs, for example, because their interaction with MAOIs is so severe he would have been likely to die or experience debilitating symptoms, especially considering the frequency and quantity of ayahausca he was allegedly consuming.

The contraindications are overstated + primarily cardiovascular and the main concern (tyramine) isn't even the issue it was thought to be -- and notwithstanding that dairy today apparently contains a fraction of what it did half a century ago.

Not only are MAOIs safe but they are probably the most effective antidepressant, and the only one with a known/plausible mechanism of action.

I'm sure under the right conditions they are fine. The issue is more that if he were mixing a heavy dose with SSRIs putting him at risk of serotonin syndrome. That said, drug warnings can be overstated. My thinking from what I heard in the youtube ladies video is that he was frying his brain on DMT more than anything, maybe exacerbating and underlying mental issue. Its actually quite fascinating, Ill have to go watch some of his live streams when I have time if those are still up.
