Just like the Pashtuns in Afghanistan or the Houthis in Sana'a, as long as Palestinians are willing to pop out another baby in an irradiated crater, the Israelis will be unable to resolve this crisis before they lose support in the West.

There are videos of it, but most places delete any part that includes that quote.

I dont know where the Shapiro quote is from, it seems like someone is using some poetic license to combine some reasoning he has used..

It's only a victory for Hamas in that it resolidifies their control over Gaza. The Palestinians got their shit pushed in hard and for every killed Israeli they lost 10, and for every rocket hundreds became homeless.

You also have winners in Israel. With this conflict Netanyahu again wins popular support and can dismiss the moderates pushing for diplomacy with Hamas. Israel will continue to strengthen its grip on Jerusalem while Hamas rages on the other side of the country
