>we feared this for a decade
was this before or after Digi jumped on the train to mock the fact that Berserk was turned into a CGI mess back in 2016?

>we feared this for a decade
This. You can't compare a weekly shounen manga to a bi-monthly manga like Flying Witch, for example. And if the mangaka draws 4-koma manga (comic strips), it takes so much less time to make them it's common for 4-koma mangaka to work on multiple series at the same time. A popular example is Katsuwo, who worked on both Hitori Bocchi and Mitsuboshi Colors at the same time. A less popular example in the west but really popular in Japan is Shigeno Naoki, who is currently working on 5 (!) 4-koma serializations at the same time. It isn't like they are doing this out of desperation either, since successful 4-koma mangaka who have been working on a single title for decades are common and both mangaka I mentioned above have some of the most popular 4-koma manga ever under their belt, I'm sure Katsuwo could live off of Hitori Bocchi alone if he wanted to.To be fair the murder schedule is mostly a shounen jump thing anyways
I know we've all been memeing about based Ben but honestly this is just sorta pathetic, Ben doesn't know how to do banter. He's commenting under Zappie talking like a beaten house wife. Ben you've been posting against Digi for what almost a month now, for gods sake just make a podcast with mumkey or do a pcp lecture on Digi's fall from grace. Sitting on twitter replying to Digi's few remaining fans was funny at first but at this point it's just pathetic. Man up and say something rather than bitching on twitter all the live long day.
Perhaps he's still a bit sore about Turkey Tom calling him an "orangutan" in the video he did on Digibro:I know we've all been memeing about based Ben but honestly this is just sorta pathetic, Ben doesn't know how to do banter. He's commenting under Zappie talking like a beaten house wife.
In fairness, it's Mumkey who is dragging his feet with the whole podcast idea; it's BASED Saint that wants to rag on Conrad some more on such a podcast. Mumkey doesn't want to talk about Conrad, he just wants to . . . rejoin the PCP one more time, I guess? Which is a bit sad, he should just leave that all behind, considering the PCP voted him out except for BASED Saint himself.Ben you've been posting against Digi for what almost a month now, for gods sake just make a podcast with mumkey or do a pcp lecture on Digi's fall from grace.
I'm just saying the dude should turn on a webcam and talk about it rather than bitching on twitter. He shouldn't need the PCP's approval to do any sort of content just give us blood ben. I don't even care who wins I just want the sperg fight, all this shit is so watered down if it's through twitter posts. The other PCP crew aren't really that interested in talking about Conrad, so they are a no-go as well.
Past episodes of Ben's SHEKELS 4 HECKLES and especially his weekly PCP Podcast (both of which are co-hosted with fellow PCP member Gibbontake) regularly deal with Conrad and Riley, pretty much ever since the Gunt fight and Conrad leaving the patrons for Radcon 4 in the dust. Again, one shouldn't judge him on one lacklustre tweet against Turkey Tom, BASED Ben has given us plenty of content already and he only wants to create some more. It's Mumkey with his "How the Turntables" tweet against Conrad that has left us all waiting in expectation for more lulz only to receive the disappointing news that he's not even interested in talking about Conrad in the first place with Ben.I'm just saying the dude should turn on a webcam and talk about it rather than bitching on twitter. Give us Kino, Ben.
I've already uploaded Tom's previous documentary on Digibro/Conrad ("Busting Digibro/Otaku Gonzo Journalism: The Worst Anime Reviewer (And Creep) on YouTube", 24 July 2018 ) to this thread, but I might as well re-upload it again in this context:

Tom describes that time, when he had a conversation with Digi ("DIGIBRO VS EVERYBODY #6 Vs Turkey Tom, Mumkey Jones, Y Kick, Society, & More!", 24 July 2018 ) immediately after that video's release (when Conrad threatened to sue him for defamation, mostly likely leading to that video being deleted and almost becoming lost media), as his "lowest point".
Imagine being so lonely that you crawl back to people who despies you. Fucking get a grip Mumkey. These people were never your real friends. In fairness, it's Mumkey who is dragging his feet with the whole podcast idea; it's BASED Saint that wants to rag on Conrad some more on such a podcast. I DEMAND BLOODone shouldn't judge him on one lacklustre tweet against
Turkey tom is a grifter it's all about money and views for him, nevermind the fact that a defamation suit would fall under anti slapp.Turkey tom really drops the fucking ball in the debate when digi asks if he would regret anything if digi sued him and he lost and he just answers i would regret losing money?
Like really dude, not that a pedo walks free or the misscarige of justice? But just some fucking sheckels?
You don't get it Riley told him in a year he'll have more money than EVER and be an upcoming rap super star!Woah there I look away for a month or two and this faggot nukes his channel
Bet he felt bad looking bad at all the success he earned that he'll never be able to recapture
I've thought and said this many times before but at this point, I'm not even sure if digitroon is capable of things like introspection and hindsight. At least at the moment, it seems as if he's driven purely by hedonism and reckless disregard for all conventional wisdom.Bet he felt bad looking bad at all the success he earned that he'll never be able to recapture
Okay I've changed my mind, I don't care that he's a retard commie. As a wise feeder once said, an action can be based, even if the person cannot be.
Digi's writing starts with a question, introduces a distracting topic, talks about his own feelings, and restates the question at the end. He's been using the Chewbacca defense as a writing style ever since he became a "analyst." What superhero is the most "Interconnected?" The essay deals with data and the wrong assumptions people have about things, why bother talking about superheros when all he wants to discuss is Dick's response to "bad data" and intuition?Wow he sure sounds insightful for when you need to start that 8th grade project and pick a question to go by.
I love the delusion in this reply, Digi has lost money both on patreon and in terms of assets (the stuff he sold and his house). It's something so clear I can literally graph it out. As for Riley's connections to big money, that again is delusional his biggest connections are to Dick and Digi but I guess our boy Digi has yet to figure this out. How could I forget his connections begging small time rappers to let them do stage work, truly a man of wealth.
I heartily encourage everyone to watch, it's quick and hilarious like a space shuttle explosion. I thought I'd get a laugh out of the unoriginality of listicle format and the pointlessness of the represented topic. Instead Digi spectacularly fails to clear even that bar and tries to present the verbalisation of analysis paralysis internal monologue as intellectualism. "I don't know, nobody knows, the question is incoherent as stated, maybe the question is really about how people feel about the question..."Ygg Studio's "Getting Interesting Answers To Questions", 20 May 2021

-Dr. Jinpa, A Buddha in the Land of Snows p. 80 (quotations from Khedrup Je, Entryway of Faith, p. 125.)Tsongkhapa chose to ask Mañjuśrī a series of questions. It appears that Tsongkhapa’s own philosophical inclination concerning the view of emptiness at the time was somewhat similar to the view held by many of his Tibetan contemporaries. On this view, insofar as one’s own position is concerned, no standpoint is to be held, and statements and standpoints can only be articulated from the point of view of one’s opponents—representing a kind of agnosticism or quietism with no commitment to any proposition. Tsongkhapa therefore asked Mañjuśrī whether the view [...] he espoused at the time was that of the Prāsaṅgika Madhyamaka (of Candrakīrti) or that of the Svātantrika Madhyamaka (of Bhāviveka). To his surprise, Mañjuśrī replied, “It is neither.”
that honestly what it is anitube was so fucking garbage at the time. nobody could call him on his bullshit.Digi's writing starts with a question, introduces a distracting topic, talks about his own feelings, and restates the question at the end. None of his writing would ever pass a 1st semester English course. He even stated in a previous video years ago that his overuse of "I" and turning every essay into an editorial was intentional. Every blog post, video, substack article and podcast has been Conrad talking about his personal feelings. He's gone so far as to say there's no objective way to score or judge anything, and tries to come off as a maverick philosophier instead of a verbose pseud. His writing caught traction because anitube was a desert when he started over a decade ago and teenagers not knowing what good writing is. Digi has been writing as his day job for over 10 years and its never improved.
