I'm not a phoneposter just shortbus slow in the mornings lol. I was trying to get through atleast half a cup of coffee without wanting to post. I'm wondering how Dave's true self is? I know he'll always one up himself but I'm noticing he has complete lack of care when speaking or tweeting. Some whale must of made a good behind the scenes deal coupled with as much shit as he has lied about he knows the unwell will still tip, get banned, and tip again lol. cycle of life in Dave streams. Also, how many times does he pity beg for da tax dude or certain bills....he's fucked up so many times with repeating the same beg 2-3 times a month and rahb's or derich's don't realize it.

Reminds me of that pool party Phil went to and wouldn't get in the pool even though it was like just a little above waste deep water, he just waddled around filming like a fucking autist. There was even a girl in the pool in her swimsuit and Phil filmed it and uploaded it to his old vlog channel. Phil was uploading girls in their swimsuits to his YouTube channel in 2009.

Even if you had told him, he wouldn't have changed anything. He's that stubborn and immature.

What blows me away, despite how familiar I am with this fact, is how age simply has not improved him at all. I... just don't see that others. Ever. The worst people I've dealt with were either crazier than him, because of drugs usually, or just had more of a spine, and therefore went outside and made more of a mess.

But everybody else, who is simply flawed, manages to at least accidentally grow up a bit. It may take until 30, but it happens. Phil reached his teens years and stopped there. That's why he doesn't look at his early days on YT and pick up on the fact that he wasn't supposed to be so immature then, because he just doesn't know that being 27 means knowing how to do your own fucking laundry. And not throwing a fit when people make fun of you for it.

Phil gets every bit as pissy today as he did back when people gave him shit over his posts on the Shoryuken forums. He puts in just as little effort, expects just as much reward, and acts just as shitty towards those close to him. Time touches his body, but not his mind. It defies comprehension.

No matter what you do, he will always be trash. You tried to tell how to play the game better? Didn't see it fast enough so it's your fault. You typed it immediately? Money should have attached to it to highlight it. I can't see it in the chat otherwise. You did? You were not nice enough. You were being critical. You were not being critical? It was a super chat. Don't you know I need tips now.

And I get it. On some level we would like to believe this kind of exchange would be hyperbole. But it's not anymore. Over the last two weeks he has either said exactly this or something close to it to die hard fans.

A life of people enabling your shitty habits will do that to you. As long as the OICs and Jaxes exist and reward Phil for his shitty behaviors, he'll never change.

Just think back on your own life. We've all been immature and infantile when younger, and suffering from the consequences of our shitty behaviors is what allows us to grow and better ourselves.

Phil, on the other hand, just keeps being rewarded for being a liar and a scammer. Most people would immediately stop supporting a content creator after they discovered that he cried poor while spending thousands of dollars on a gacha game. But with Phil, he faced no actual backlash for that, save for a few paypigs who opened their eyes. But the whales are still there.

In a way, it's a very interesting mutually parasitic relationship. Paypigs waste their money to keep the show going, and Phil thinks he's doing well because he's still streaming, but in reality that just makes him frozen in time, not ever growing as a person, shunned by all people who know him IRL.

I'd feel sad if Phil was unaware of it, but I'm pretty sure he knows it, and just refuses to do something about it (like getting a real job).

Agree. I have more respect for Twitch Thots than Phil. At least they know what they are about and don't hide their intentions. It's sorta sad and gross in some ways, but if it works it works. Better personalities too, but that's not saying much.

When Eunuch95 throws pennies at some thot streamer though bits, she at least has the common courtesy to thank him. Now you may question the sincerity of that gratefulness, but at least the gesture is there. You give money to Dave, there's a chance that he'll bitch at you because you didn't tip so he doesn't get that money right away, that you didn't tip enough (thanks for the 30 dallahs but we still need 40 dollars to even hit the vest goal and I only have 45 minutes of the stream left... I dunno guys this sucks...) or because your tip message annoyed him at that moment. It's honestly remarkable how greasy and greedy he is compared to even Twitch thots.

I get the feeling that was the reason they imploded. I mean, I would like to see him reach his breaking point, just to see that there even IS one, but I'm not about to do anything to make it happen. No fucking way. I'm just going to make fun of him, and give him credit where it's due in the event he ever does learn. Anything beyond that would drive me insane.

A life of people enabling your shitty habits will do that to you. As long as the OICs and Jaxes exist and reward Phil for his shitty behaviors, he'll never change.

Thing is, and you speak of consequences, but he has paid them. They just weren't the kind that he is hurt enough by. He has lost friends, business opportunities, fans, and even a lot of money. As much as he rakes in now, things still used to be a lot better in that respect. There's a reason that although he stubbornly refuses to improve, denoting that he feels comfortable, he's actually still visibly miserable. He feels the backlash, for sure.

There are so many things Phil can never do because of his rep, so he has absolutely been given reason to grow, and he still doesn't do it, because of that one last consequence he hasn't yet paid. Or IS it because of that? That's one thing we don't yet know about Phil: what does he do when his whalechairs are gone? When his internet career is 100% over, how does he react? Not even he knows, because he hasn't been faced with that yet. Is that his breaking point? Does he even have one?

I would love to find out, because if there's an ultimate test of his stupidity, laziness, and immaturity, that's it, the act of having no retards keeping his stream alive anymore. Everything else has already been lost to him. The whalechairs are the last wall standing.

You can hold a mirror up to someone's face and try to tell them what they see, but their distorted self image will never let them see how others do. Complete lack of empathy and self awareness made him what he is today. Phil is a cautionary example of what not to do and how not to live, and some people only amount to that.

The entitlement he has is my biggest hang up. "Hurr durr this is my livelihood dood, I demand you pay me to poorly play games and be an asshole." No one owes you shit. The fact that there are people dumb enough to support you is stunning. At least thots occasionally act like grateful human beings and generally don't insult their audience.

If the internet didn't exist he'd likely have a better life and be forced to grow as a person. Too bad he's a lazy sack of shit that the whole world gets to mock and laugh at. The entire situation is self inflicted, and it is hilarious. A 40 year old man with the maturity of a fucking 12 year old. Bravo.

And honestly I think this is going to be Phil's downfall. People are just going to eventually just stop caring and move on with their lives. Even though alot of these DSP fans/whales seem to have no lives, they all will eventually move on to something different.

Not only does his resume have a fucking canyon of a gap in it thanks to being a CAHNTENT CREATOR, he was also:

1.) Terminated from every normal job he’s held.
2.) Has no discernible work skills.
3.) No people skills.

The list could go on and on. Phil is quite literally a painting of the most perfectly unemployable person.

I'm not saying its ideal, but you can spin his online content as a plus on his resume, provided it was relevant to the job. Phil would need to somehow stay in the pseudo industry he's in.

The problem is at that point the potential employer is likely going to see the content.
