Been a lot of talk of future lockdowns over a different virus, climate change, racism, whatever the fuck excuse they can think of to shove us all back in our pods, and something's come to mind.
If they do attempt further shenanigans, it will have to be sooner rather than later (let's say 5 years at the maximum), because the longer time goes on, the more people will wake up to how much of a massive fucking mistake the response to this utter failure of a "killer virus" turned out to be. The media and governments can only blitzkrieg and plug up the holes in their narrative so many times before the leaks come out faster and continue to sink the boat as the short and long-term consequences of their malicious actions settle into the public's mind little by little.

Oh noes! I mean normally about 3 million Americans die per year. But congrats on the super killer mega plague *almost* catching up with the number of americans that die from cardiovascular disease or smoking every year. Almost! But to be fair we're a nation of fat asses, so being more deadly than our addiction to burgers and fries is a tough race to win.

Note that most of the people who die from Mega Plague are in the same wheelhouse as Cardiovascular Disease and Smoking so it lost to it's bigger competitors.

Maybe, maybe not. My work says unvaccinated people need to wear masks and get tested regularly for coof. Vaccinated people, no mask or tests - this is validated by uploading proof of vaccination. So yeah, you can lie, but if you do you’ve violated ethics policies. And so, we come to the grey area of employees vs customers vs HIPAA.... not gonna powerlevel too much here but the HIPAA and privacy thing is interesting and I did get the shots, provided proof to HR once the test policy came out and know that by doing so I made my vaccination status no longer HIPAA protected.
How many people don’t know what voluntarily providing proof of vaccination to their employer means from a HIPAA standpoint? Lol

Wonder how many of them would've died anyway in 2020-21? I'd wager around half of those would've been bumped off by heart attacks, the flu, car accidents, etc. Or fentanyl, poor George Floyd, another COVID-19 victim literally murdered by Drumpf.
We were also supposed to have millions dead by now according to The Experts. I guess they couldn't find enough bodies to label as "death by COVID-19." But they sure wish there were millions of dead, since The Experts and good Covidian Science Believers like yourself love wishing heretics like myself were dead from it.

I do not wear a mask unless I'm going in a public building or taking a taxi.
The other day a guy from ATT showed up at my door to try talking me into getting cable TV through them.
He was wearing a mask on a hot sunny day.
He took an energetic step back when I opened the screen door so I could hear him better. I didn't go all the way out on the porch, just opened the door a few inches.
He seemed irritated by something.
I did not sign up for more TV that I wouldn't watch anyway.
Not sure if anyone cares that I don't wear masks at home or in the yard. So far no one has messed with me over it. I like to think it's because without the mask I'm too scary-looking.

Calm down, dude. This was all bullshit and stuff is changing for it. Some stuff changing for the better (remote work!), some stuff changing for the better that will eventually change the world (if John Doe can work remote, why not some guy in India at a quarter of a John’s cost?) some stuff is changing for the worse (check the recent BLS inflation reports). And a lot of people got throughly fucked.
Edit: a lot more than 3.5 MM people got fucked, I actually feel the worst for kids.
