Her gut micro-biome is totally screwed by her diet of highly processed foods that contain none of the fibre she needs for a healthy gut. Likely leaky gut at an absolute minimum, but with a family history of bowel cancer...well she's an idiot for not getting the colonoscopy. If she is losing as much weight as she claims, while still consuming the calories we're seeing, then she must be malabsorbing her food and the essential nutrients she needs....that's not a good sign. If her claims about the Dr not calling in her ozempic script are true (press X to doubt), then her new script is for double the dosage she was on nearly two weeks ago as that was the progression. She won't be able to cope with that now.

I occasionally find myself wondering if Chantal is just playing her audience along now, and has actually put her health in the too hard basket, and decided just to enjoy what time she has left on this earth. I've certainly seen that happen when younger people have been given terminal diagnoses and just decided it's too late/too hard to change so they go with the flow and shuffle off when it happens. I suspect she has no idea though just how miserable the wait to die will likely be for her, and caretaker Peetz is definitely going to feel her decline even harder than her as he's going to be her caretaker whether he wants to be or not. Unless she is in a position where she has a terminal illness, she could actually turn her life around still...but she's had enough opportunity to take steps towards that and instead, as always has chosen the path of least resistance. It's getting uncomfortable to watch her now while thinking of her as another human being....but the trainwreck aspect is hard to turn away from.

I don't think it's his "revenge" at all. I do think he's pretty comfortable with her as a friend, and moving back in with her was an improvement on his prior living situation. This may be hard for many to accept, but share accommodation can be the absolute pits, and at least by moving back with Chantal he knew the score having lived with her for 7-8 years previously. I very much doubt that any of the promises she made regarding cooking/cleaning were things he expected would be delivered. Not just from his past experiences of living with her, but also his knowledge of how she lived under Bibi's roof. He's not completely stupid despite some of the crap that comes out of his mouth.

While we can't be certain what Chantal's plan regarding Nader is, what we can be certain of is that she is a manipulator. Her tactics are as juvenile as ever, but they've worked for her in the past. She doesn't have Nader under her control though...quite the opposite. She's using him, and using her outrageous behaviour to manipulate someone else. Clearly she's not welcome there currently for whatever reason, and Smee isn't visiting the luxury villa and cleaning it while there. The last time her bedroom was cleaned happened right on a visit from Mama Sarault. We've seen Chantal won't/can't do these common household tasks herself, and Peetz certainly isn't about to clean up after her. She's just gameplaying currently, and coming a resounding last.

I think you're giving Peetz way too much credit, but at the same time, I don't think you're totally off-base.

He's clinically depressed and his self-esteem is chronically in the shitter. He knows Chantal uses him, but he might not recognize it as being used -- not consciously, anyway, and even if he does, he probably thinks he deserves it.

If he ever finds his balls and gets a boost to his self-esteem -- such as from a girl in Winnipeg -- he'll move very quickly from the person who makes him feel like shit to the person who makes him feel good. He's a simple creature after all, and while hanging around Chantal is the path of least resistance, the very fact that he's making the effort to meet someone leads me to believe he's clear on the fact that he's only in Chantal's life as long as Chantal wants something from him. She's made it clear she's looking for Bibi #2, and while she won't be cheating on him this time, she'll definitely be abandoning Peetz again the first chance she gets. It's encouraging, from a purely clinical standpoint, that he's making the effort to meet other people and loosening Chantal's psychotic stranglehold over his social life. He doesn't seem to have any other friends, and I'm sure Chantal had a hand in that. If he ever makes a friend or starts dating someone, it will probably become very clear to him how badly he's been treated by his "bestie" all these years.

Rigorous sex burns approx 4 calories per minute. Not that I believe Chantal is having "rigorous" sex, but even giving her the benefit of the doubt and allowing that she might be getting cornholed 3 times a day for 30 minutes each time (I know, I KNOW, I'm being generous, just go with it)- that's 360 calories she's sexercising off, the same as a McFlurry.

We don't even see half of what she eats but based on the half we do see, we can safely assume that she's consuming well over 5,000 calories per day most days. Even if she was "moderately active" (as if), she would only be burning around 3,000 calories a day. I'm not convinced that she's lost as much weight as she claims but the fact that she IS losing is definitely a warning sign of a serious health issue. The fact that she keeps smugly insisting that fasting, intuitive eating, OMAD and "sexercise" are the reasons for her weight loss is a testament to the level of DELUSION this woman has achieved.

Don't forget the leaky FUPA, any antibiotics she was on for that would have killed any good gut flora she would have had as well. That was only a couple of months ago.
