One of you should just pull the trigger already. I'll help contribute to it in any way I can.

This started with a simple suggestion that Mecharandom is worthy of being called a lolcow, but I do think all of them are pretty pathetic, and probably deserve to be lumped together. There was some debate as to any one of them separately is deserving of a thread, but you can absolutely get a good OP if it's all of them.

Jeff being a pussywhipped ape looking creature who wrote a cringe comic. Milestone's questionable gender, and making crazy claims of "copyright theft." Merry Mayhem's neurotic breakdown and ascendency to the low council. And Mecharandom being a batshit insane SJW landwhale in general.

It's an interesting group.

Pulling in $20k/mo from simps doing nothing but making funny faces while reading whatever nonsense is posted on the MarySue is probably addicting in its own way, I'd imagine. Will be interesting to see how long the gravy train persists.

But, nah, I can't wish that kind of thing on anyone.

I dunno what you mean by "level of heat," but if you mean he gets less shit now it's probably because:

1. He doesn't associate with the diseased Comicsgate "brand." The less said about that, the better. I caused a firestorm the last time I brought this up.
2. He stopped doing Trump books and seems pretty committed to Black Hops and Kamen America now. You wouldn't know he's right-of-center just from looking at the covers of those, and most people are too lazy to do research into his prior work.

I picked up the first issue of Kamen America from my local comic shop. How are the other two issues? I know there were lots of political humor/memes in the first one.

They're okay, IIRC. There were some parts in the first one that I have to admit were a bit "on the nose." Like the part where a young Carly laments the fact that modern feminism is forcing her to do boy shit instead of the girl shit she wants to do. I'm pretty sure that's Tim and/or Mark offering some of their own social commentary. I think they tone that down a bit in the other two and concentrate more on action.

I'll be honest and say I mainly pick them up for the faux anime tits and ass. I like reminding Liam he's full of shit, as well as the rest of comic book industry. It's NOT great literature, and shouldn't be. The sentai genre generally isn't.

Ah, that explains this post then by Marvel artist Mark Brooks. People were assuming it was in reference to the Dan Shahin interview but apparently Preston's been sending regular lolsuit updates along to Gail.
