Skitzocow Taxman / Kyle Hawkins

Doesn't scitzophenia usually present itself as people grow older? It's very rare for young people to have it I've read. It's entirely possible taxman was a regular dude and as he aged his mental condition got worse coupled with the military service.

I don't know, I'm not a doctor.

It's pretty common to show up around college age. Paranoid type schizophrenia is also usually higher functioning, with people better able to conceal it, and tends to show up even later. It can really show up any time, though, even in childhood.

This. Schizophrenia could affect people in any age group.
 
It's really sad/comical/worrying. His first and main reason to be sober is saving cash.

Also he claims a light trip from the absintinte, uhhh no. Not anything new and or bought stateside, I could sperg but I'll spare everyone. tl;dr new absintine doesn't trip you out.

His response at the bottom about Equestria sounds both optimistic and desperate... I usually don't care what happens to racists, but this guy clearly needs help or some type of intervention. As it's been said before this guy has serious mental issues, and if left untreated he could possibly do something to hurt himself that he cannot undo... :(

He believes that the government and evil wizards are out to get him. I'm pretty sure us going "no no no, we're not trying to hurt or kill you!" would just make him believe that we are even more. He's so paranoid that it doesn't fucking matter. He doesn't think the way normal people do, trying to reason with him the same way you would with a sane person isn't going to work.

If so, Tax would be a dictionary example of this. It began with him claiming he was 'king of the ponylovers' when he was very drunk. Then it moved to harassing other members due to racial origins and now, it's his conspiracy theories.

He would also make a great PSA about drugs. As far as I know, he only did acid one time, so the post-acid rant where the paranoia was going obvious and strong and he ranted about unicorns and the Illuminati and whatever out to get him is really jarring. It would probably scare some kids straight off the idea.

Also, I can confirm that he pretty much dubbed himself 'king of the ponylovers.'

There's nothing inbetween those quotes within their own individual groups. He just posted them one after another. I'm very sure he's actually used the words 'king of the ponylovers' before, which is where we got it from, but unfortunately, I cannot find that quote. Sorry!

That pour.. "a bit heavy" It's also a red wine glass. It's sad before the tasting starts he goes on he's been dry for a while by his own claim it's not even 72 full hours.

At least he admits he's not as educated in whites so his tasting notes aren't as silly, if anything he should go for white reviews more he's not trying to sound snobby.

I know it's a new trend with decent wines but >screw cork.

I give him a pass since he says he's not into white wines and it doesn't matter that much, though I guess if he's gonna be youtubing he should just go out and get a proper glass.

He stumbles a bit with the presentation, but mostly avoids talking about bronies and transdimensional portals and white supremacy. The Princess Leia and ponies in the background make it impossible to really take him too seriously. It sounds like he's really overselling a $12 bargain wine. I'll see if I can find a bottle and see if it's as great as he makes it out to be.

Also, it's clear that he's either reading these posts or someone is relaying them to him, since he goes out of his way to say "I'm not going to talk about off-topic stuff this week."

Why is everyone so concerned about what kind of glass he uses? The idea that the tongue has different "taste areas" is baloney, so he could be drinking out of a Solo cup and get the same taste.

I think it's funny that he says there's not a big selection for under $20. He should taste wines from Walmart and other grocery stores if he wants to find wines for us plebs that are affordable and are of good quality. I've never heard of most of the types of wines he's talked about. Didn't realize even that Spanish wine was a thing. They've got "Italian", "French", and American wines at the Walmart, and they're mostly $20 or less.

I'll spare the wine info about breathing and all that jazz because it's only semi on topic and i'm not a pro.
It's not being snobby for the sake of bashing him, he's the one who's made videos with "willing" customers of how much an expert he is. Sure you can use a different tool and get the job done but he's an expert by his own claims. It's like if you turned on cooking TV and the host said fuck it we'll throw this chicken in the mircowave after pouring some root beer on it.

I'm not saying he's completely uneducated with wine at all he probably knows more than most and in some respects I caught a few tips but I've seen a lot of errors and his tasting notes are pretentious for that sake alone (aside the ones that are baffling due to being hammered)

He's got some skills with it, if he did them sober and cleaned up his "mistakes" he could have a nice thing going.
