That looks incredibly sketchy, any other pics of the whole thing specifically the bottom and a shot of it in profile against the rest of the house? That railing cannot be safe being as low as it appears to be and I'm highly doubtful that it's sitting on a leveled slab and anchored down.

Who in their right mind thinks that a utilitarian metal staircase made for the inside of some industrial park or warehouse (seriously, that's just about the only place that would look appropriate) would be the perfect way to access the deck and front entrance of their home!? That thing isn't even fit for a normal ranch anywhere, it's a liability and an accident waiting to happen. And these retards are just lounging around on it with autistic grins on their faces like they're proud of the damn thing. It's certainly not attatched to anything other than dirt on the ground level, and they are suspiciously refusing to show how it's attached from the side. I know they had a staircase, hopefully they didn't rip that out and replace it with this thing wholesale, and just made the slightly less (slightly more?) retarded move of putting this up while the actual stairs get redone.

They did. The old wooden stairs were allegedly rotten so instead of repairing it they ripped it out and replaced it with these industrial stairs.

I reckon they could use a car or two as well.
