I don't think it is fucked up at all to recognise that your parents are a cancer & you are better off cutting them out of your life. It takes strength to admit that your blood family is toxic and that you must grieve the loss of something you never had and never will have, and move on. People who continue to interact with relatives they know damn well are toxic are worse off, IMO. Once they're older, Bowie & Rylee would do well to go through that admittedly difficult process and cut Ryann out of their lives. (More optimistic rainbows)
