Yeah. If you look at the amount of calories you burn by running 5 miles it will surprise you; it's not a lot. Most of the calories you consume are wasted just keeping you warm.Although I don't think society should do anything for troons except public shaming and exile, I still don't buy this story.
They wanted her to lose weight to get the free surgery and she said she couldn't do it. Diet is 75% of weight loss and chubs there puts the entire blame on her massive boobs "getting in the way of exercising". Sounds annoying and painful but hard agree with NHS on this one.
People often associate counting calories with eating disorders, but it's pretty much the only thing that works when it comes to weight loss. Of course: you can lose a bunch of pounds in one week with a crash diet, but they'll come back. Nutrition is similar to training in that regard: you should make changes gradually, so that you can guarantee long term consistency.
I'm from LATAM. I won't tell you about what is happening here, because I have sperged about this shit constantly on breadtube's thread. I'll tell you this: all middle class kids who speak English have already drank the Kool-Aid. That and postgraduate students coming back from the States or Europe. You can barely recognize them. That's true, I should have mentioned that I was specifically talking about the USA. Spain legalized gay marriage in 2005 and nothing important happened after it. But the USA context is much different: The troon ideology has been brewing for decades now in the USA and probably in other "Anglo-Saxon" cultures as well. As soon as gay marriage (now you shouldn't even call it same-sex or gay marriage, but "marriage equality" or "marriage for all") was legalized the gates were opened to make troonerism mainstream.
You're totally right that troonerism in its modern conception seems to infect the entire world. I've already heard of rich non-binary Russian kids or how Western troonerism negatively affected women rights activists in India. The insanity probably started in American universities and spread through social media around the entire world. It's so clear that this comes from America when I'm looking up the Twitter bios of Swiss-German politicians. Everything in their bio is in German except the pronouns which are often in English. I also do think that poorer countries and/or countries where only a few people speak English are less prone to this infection that countries like Sweden or Germany.
That's even too harsh for my standards. I do think that troons have their place in society: In sitcoms and in theatre to be laughet at, since most trannies are inherently funny. Maybe this is where Ollie's "career" is going?
There are some /pol/lack losers, not just in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil, but also in "darker" countries such as my own, Colombia. People who were exploring the internet before the local "normies" discovered breadtube. They are few, very few; a dying breed if you ask me.
If you went to any university here and said "trans women are women" you would probably be applauded by most people. The only real opposition to them are political lesbian and radfems. I don't really like them, but I understand how troons can undo their struggle by distracting people from real issues, such as LATAM's huge femicide problem.
In many ways hispanic Internet is very pre 2016. Troons are taking over, but the quarrels between edgy guys (which we call rat kids) and feminists prevent them from making a truce and denounce trannies. I believe this has a lot to do with huspanic culture IRL. Relationships between educated men and women are very damaged: sexual scandals are common place in universities, and pretty much everywhere, but are not taken seriously due to euphemisms and stereotypes people use. For example: some American middle age women come here to find their "Diego" because Latino men are "passioante". That is not the case: latino culture is rapy. I think that's why feminists haven't woken up to this new menace: they have a lot of pending issues with normal men and too little time to think about troons.
