There's a scene in P5 Royal where Anne yells at the MC and Ryu for staring at her butt and calls them anti feminist. I'm almost positive that wasn't in the original game but I can't rule it out because it's been a long ass time since I played it.

With my two playthroughs of original P5, I don’t recall any dialogue like that. I skipped over Royal since it’s mostly the same game and the new characters don’t interest me.

But I could use a good laugh. Do you remember where that scene was?

This was why I immediately wrote off Strikers when it came out, and I only "accepted" it when I actually played through it. Sure, I suppose that the game is still very difficult on Hard even if you can do this, but I couldn't completely shake off the feeling of "cheating" in doing this.

Speaking of restoratives, there's far too much of a variety of them.

Mind you, this is also made by the people that put floating bao as a random drop. If they insist on the peon horde mechanic, they can have floating coffee cups and soft drink containers when some peons get killed. We know they can do it since they put floating masks. Peons as SP farms was how the Dynasty games worked.

I don't think it's a matter of the success going to their heads, but rather a combination of them not being vigilant enough about how well a job their localization team is doing and supposing that "little" changes like that aren't going to hurt their bottom line (they really won't) so they're tolerable so long as the top brass is business-oriented.

Who the hell is the tubby/soyboy that "translated" that line, I wonder...

I don't think anybody hates Nocturne at all-- maybe they find the remaster lackluster, but not the core Nocturne.

It's just that Nocturne is really, really hard and sometimes bullshit-- even on Normal difficulty (reportedly, anyways, I'm playing on Hard because I grew up with low self-esteem which gave way to full-on masochism in my teenage years onwards thanks to anime).

IIRC, it's an abbreviation for "Festival", rather than each letter representing a different word.

I played it last year and couldn't believe it. First time I've ever seen media treat gender dysphoria appropriately; girl realises she doesn't need to be a dude to be compitent and comes to terms with her own body and taking hold of her own future.

You'd never see such a healthy, realistic approach in pozzed western media, it was genuinely shocking.

Also Futaba in 5 might have been the best interpretation of an autistic female I've ever seen done. Doesn't need to openly state it or make a a thing of it, but it's fairly obvious to those that know.

most of these niggas haven't even played the game. It reminds me of when I used to be subscribed to game informer before they really cucked out. During one of their annual april fools day segments there was a parody article about a man who claimed to be an expert in dark souls not from actually playing the game but by watching lets plays. This perfectly sums a large chunk of persona fans.

Atlus has always been a retarded company the fuck are you on about, theres a reason they went bankrupt in the first place and several of their projects have imploded on their face several times

Just finished up the True Demon route. Would have been faster had I grinded that final level for Freikugal, but I was lazy. Definitely enjoyed it more this time around than when I tried to start it years back. Did have to look up a couple boss gimmicks to save some headaches, but overall there wasn't much that gave me trouble after Matador.

Gonna have to go back and beat DDS and Apocalypse eventually, though I might have to restart since it's been so long.

I'm fairly sure Midori from Devil Survivor was meant to be autistic. She was sheltered and raised by the internet, but also she never really seems to understand human behavior. The best you can do is to tell her to calm her ass down. She never really gets why people feel the way they do.

In my opinion Devil Survivor honestly had the best characterization of any SMT game. Everyone in that game is just incredibly realistic compared to other games in the franchise.
