Generally, I'm surprised people like Zach can work at AdultSwim in this current climate, considering that on SleepyCabin they would make jokes like calling MLK a nigger, etc.

Zach is most likely in good with Justin Roiland (Harmon got Arin in the divorce), I'd imagine that gets you a bit of protection. He collabs with Michael Cusack and usually stays out of the spotlight so the potential for heat is probably minimum. Just hope nobody writes a buzzfeed article about it, I guess.

I know this is pretty late but I haven't seen anyone bring it up before.

For April Fools TomFulp made a version of Pico's school with the subtitle "Love Conquers All" it's basically just a sanitized version of the original game.

It could have been a pretty cool April Fools joke but when you realize that it's a good representation of what's happening to New Grounds, a once cool edge thing turn into a complete shell of itself.

All this new traffic is coming from Friday Night Funkin' a game that could have been a neat little game celebrating New Grounds' history and culture, I mean it is that but the main problem comes from how ridiculously popular it is and how it attracts the crazy gender fluid kids. (that and it's devs are super gay with one of them being a tranny)

As a side note to that, there's even a ending bit at the end of the game with the main character from Fnf where Pico tells Cassandra (the school shooter girl) that "Bf" from fnf (no, he doesn't have a real name) is his boyfriend.

Again could have been a funny joke based on all those ships of them but become significantly less funny when you realize that the creators of Fnf made it canon, here's a tweet of Ninjamuffin99 talking about it.

Btw person that is currently getting canceled every second now for various reasons, one of them being that he made a edgy game when he was younger called "Whites only" and he profusely apologized after his crazy fanbase got mad at him for it.

Anyways here's the shitty tweet where he talks about the ship being canon.

Now you might say that this is a joke but believe me when I say that it was at first but they decided to change their minds and make it really canon for some unholy reason.

Here's some tweets by PhantomArcade talking about how much he appreciates all the "LGBT headcanons" whatever the fuck that means.

Now this I believe isn't a joke because again one of the devs is super gay (Kawai Sprite) either way the fandom will eat it up and say how great it is.

To wrap it up here's a redrawn depiction of the ending of Love Conquers All's ending, completely missing that it might have been a just a joke about the fandom.

Edit: I am almost positive that this actually becomes a thing that it will be a unironic version of Love Conquers All cuz their fans are already getting mad at them for adding a school shooting joke in week 7 so there is that the game will be remade without any changes.

Also for sure they would make Bf a character in the game, rewriting universe to make it so Pico is gay because that's what their crazy fans so desperately want.

Even if it's still the same game in all it's relatively edgy glory, I'm telling that the end will be completely changed because the original one would be considered problematic in our current climate.
