I feel empathy for her but empathy isn't a factor in the viewpoint in question. Empathy doesn't make it not murder. If I empathize with the murderer it's still murder.

The point is that some things are black and white. Not all opinions on everything are valid. Some questions clearly have right and wrong answers.

Like I said, empathy doesn't relate to or inform any of the topics we're discussing. I can have all the empathy for her in the world, it doesn't actually change anything.
