What I find interesting is that Phil doesn't seem to be diverting money from anything else into his gacha funds. He's apparently just trudging forward with what he usually spends on take-out and whatnot, along with the actual bills he has to pay, and leaving the gacha spending to whatever his tips let him afford once that stuff is taken care of.

That actually suggests a level of fiscal responsibility I would never expect from him. But it's probably just him being so autistic about change that even his gacha addiction can't take money away from his need for fast food, gin, and whatever WWE pay-per-views he feels like ordering, because that would constitute too much of a disruption from his routine. Would explain why low tips are such a bummer to him.

It also really sends home why his declining of money from anything but tips is such a retarded move, because it's actually fucking his mobile gaming. And leave it to him to not see that coming. Or learn from this.
I can't quite remember which Kiwi brought it up (or maybe it was Tevin?) but someone had the theory that Dave uses the money he got from Twitch, Subs, Bits, (now YT, Superchats and Memberships) as well as Patreon to pay his mortgages and his actual monthly expenses and sees every "tips" he gets as his personal allowance/spending money.

I support this theory. He can't budget for shit and him getting Twitch money in the middle and YT money at the end of the month must've been a blessing and has probably saved him.
Nowadays, he only gets tips (for now) and since he is spending most of it on gacha, he still goes into panic mode when his monthly bills come up and he doesn't have the means to pay them.
(That would somehow explain how someone who got 15k during a month, can't seem to have enough to pay his 2-3k monthly expenses.)

A number of people came up with that, as it was noticed that Phil would constantly downplay the importance of his Twitch checks despite it being calculated that they were considerable. As well as how his gacha spending seemed to line up with intake of tips.

What's insane is that Phil is actively wanting any form of income besides tips to go away, and it's not even a joke anymore, he really means the shit. If everyone who currently gives him money through Superchats or whatever were to tip him instead, he would raise no fuss whatsoever. He has forgotten all about how comforted he could once be in his whaling knowing that the bills would still get paid thanks to those Twitch checks.

That, or Phil never really deliberately lived that way to begin with, and this current apparent trend of him paying for other stuff before putting money into Champions has been his standard protocol the whole time. Either way, it's not the same now, and if he gets what he wants, which is ALL income to be daily tips, then he's even dumber than I thought, because look how pathetic he is after 3 days of not hitting the goal. Imagine 3 weeks.

This is not going to end well for him. No matter what happens, it won't be pretty.

The rest (excluding tips) is "supplemental income" to him. He truly sees his tips earnings as his sheer spending spree money and even though we know that despite not hitting the tips goal on multiple single streams, it really irritates him when the goal isn't meet because it then triggers his unstable compulsive gambling habbit and he throws him self on stream with his decrepit tempremate saying "Guys here's the bottom line alright, I don't know what's going on with these streams, people are lovin the game we're having a good pahsitive discussion about the game, but people aren't tipping now for some reason, but they were in past streams, so I don't know what to do".

The audacity of this guy.

Semi-off topic but considering his atrocious handling of money in general why he even wanted to marry khet?

We know it's the minimum, but because it's the only solid figure we can have, it's what gets brought up most, and besides that, $40k is still more than enough of a waste of money for Phil to be laughed at until another 8000 pages gets added to the main thread, even if Phil doesn't live that long. Especially since he is not new to this kind of shit, he has had plenty of warning about what kind of money it can take to have something to flex on people within a mobile game and he went at it anyways, because he's that pathetically in need for such an opportunity.

I do very much think that that's exactly what motivated Phil to get into whaling out on Champions, too. I don't think it's addiction to the games themselves, he has been willing to jump ship the instant it's no longer gratifying for that purpose, aside from when detractors ruined it for him, which is probably THE reason he still plays Champions. It's him giving us the finger. When the devs changed things in that other game, that was one thing, but when things went great until his account got found and his rep cost him his escape, that was another thing entirely. Now he had an enemy, who he already hated, to do battle with, by refusing to give them what he thought they wanted, which was to quit.
Not only a regular gachashit, a extremely predatory one that is not even fun to play, playing like a bejeweled clone and looking less polished than early 3D titles.

To own us dang dirty trolls. This isn't even a joke, he paraded Leanna around as a status symbol and did the same thing on the first few streams where Kat appeared. She pretty clearly doesn't want to be involved with his streaming at all (and who can blame her) but he still uses her + the fact that he's married as proof he is a serious mature adult. He even picked social media arguments with us on his wedding night for fuck's sake! I get that suburban Connecticut isn't anyone's idea of a romantic wedding getaway but he picked us over the woman he's ostensibly going to spend the rest of his life with. Phil also has serious difficulty with just living and functioning without live-in help; he reverted to living off frozen meals in the time between Leanna ditching him and Kat moving in.

Kat is also a relatively small part of his expenses - obviously she will have her own grocery & restaurant bills but Phil's biggest expenses like the mortgage and crippling gambling addiction are independent of whether she's in the picture or not. Phil also seems to have a real compulsion to spend every penny he gets if the $3,000 cash-on-hand in his begruptcy was any guide. Put another way if she weren't around he'd find some other money sink in her place.

I agree with you in the fact that WWE Champions is a fucking ugly game. Along with what you said, the game is absolutely predatory to its userbase on a scale that I haven't seen before.
It's funny because with other whales like FIFA or Madden Ultimate Team or NBA 2K21, you still can play against other humans for the big prizes (FIFA has Weekend League for example). And yes, you can have a massive advantage, but that comes with the territory and I've seen plenty of $30K teams lose to freebie teams.

Champions doesn't even have a competitive mode from what I can tell. Every single game is against the AI. Even their faction wars are against an AI bot of a competiting team from my understanding. So there's never an opportunity to "flex" on people.

This is basically how CWC would act if he was a rich oil baron, Phil really has no self-awareness.

People above have put in a few of the primary reasons why; super mature adult, status symbol, etc. But he's also still bitter at losing Leanna after all these years. There's speculation that he also did this as a sort of 'fuck you' to Leanna but unbeknownst to Phil, Leanna is living a much better life and is beholden to no pigroach.

No Rambo, no Leanna, no Hogan, and stuck with a gold digger while he pickles his head in gin and pickles his foot with gout slaving away for an extremely predatory piss 'poor game' that he can't even flex in due to those nudnik trolls and that lovable rapscallion Nigel. Forever condemned to play games he absolutely cares nothing for and gets no enjoyment out of with absolutely zero prospects save for inheriting his parents' assets that will summarily be liquidated for two wwe champions' events worth of hogan jockstraps and jpegs. He certainly is showing us who the mature adult is, eh?

:story:

I want his account to be banned/taken from him. I want it to happen during his early prestream and i want that shit in 4k, with chat and an extention to see removed messages. I think that stream would be the greatest in history.

Of course whats more likely is scopely announce they're not supporting an online only game anymore and he loses all his stuff anyway. After all, its happened to him at least one other time AND it was a wwe game too. Supercard? Regardless, he got scammed and its happening again
Phil would just make another account or play another game. Dead games and killed accounts are common in these shitty gacha games. These addicts can't quit, they need to burn their money to get the flashy screens and their name on the leaderboard.

Phil literally married her because his mom told him to. I'm not even joking. They weren't even going to Connecticut to get married, they were just going to visit his parents so they could meet Kathy and like 1½ weeks before they left his mom talked him into getting married while they were there too. It's hilarious because Phil touted this as some huge secret that he was really good at keeping, when it wasn't even a thing until just before he left.
As fortune would have it Phil and Kathy had bought her a ring back in October because they saw some cheap-ass flashy department store ring that was "on sale" for "80% off". Only Phil would somehow turn buying his wife some gumball machine cheap ring during their weekly waddle around the mall into some kind of point of pride to brag about.

Listen as he sounds almost confused if he really is serious adult married or not while he quickly describes a 10 minute ceremony in his parents chain-smoke filled living room next to his mom's 5 cats. . .before he gets right back to his endless talking about the food he ate. Also new Dick Stroking Phil Vlogs video just happens to be relevant so watch it because it's funny

You can't beg poverty and then stream yourself spending $300 a day on a mobile game.
He already admits that he has a few (not business related) running subscriptions that he refuses to cancel. And he already admits that he eats out at restaurants at least once a week.
It's not enough to stop him from crying about how much he needs that money, he really does, to pay his bills.

IIRC his chat told him he could stop paying for these things and he was offended and asked if they wanted him to just stare at the wall when he wasn't streaming, and said that he needs to live. He needs takeout food and his WWE and netflix subscriptions to live.

Ah, my second favorite type of Phil moment, where he answers a question with honesty and it displays how empty his life is.

I mean, what kind of person cannot think of any alternatives besides watching wrestling and whatever other subscriptions are being referred to here? There are so many ways to occupy ones time that it's mind-boggling, yet none of them are an option for Phil, apparently. Absolutely demented.

I'm a reasonable man, i can give him netflix and a few other things for entertainment. But between all the games, dvds, blurays and general junk he already owns, the reasonableness ends at like 100 a month for entertainment (hes a hermit, that 100 is all netflix/stan/wwenetwork etc or hell maybe a new game for himself to play which is an outright purchase not sub or mtx payment) and we know he orders takeout several times a week so he would probably blow the budget in 1 order.

Forgot to link this earlier and am too lazy to clip it (luckily it's the very first part of the video), but DSP literally said that it was "disrespectful" to use money that you are given as a gift on bills and that it needs to be spent on "something nice." That's how he sees money.

He then claimed with a straight face that if his parents thought that DSP was going to spend his birthday money on bills, then THEY WOULDN'T GIVE HIM THE MONEY. Because that's what good parents do; they withhold gifts that they were going to give you if you DON'T spend it frivilously.

Now i know this is pigroach logic but i cant wrap my head around that logic.

Need to pay bill? Use your paycheck.
Receive cash as a gift? Buy something nice
Possible gift of cash, got bills to pay and no paycheck? NO. You dont get it

Like i get the logic of treating yo'self when good things happen, hell i often shout guys a few drinks or lunch as a result of my good fortune because im in that good of a mood. But to withold gifts, because they might use that gift to survive?

Oh see I almost believe this. Almost. I have grandparents and elderly family do that to me or my brother or my Dad. I have some weirdly distinct memories of my Dad's aunt handing him a $20 and demanding he take us out for pizza and if she hears he spent it on bills or something she was gonna tan his hide. Damn well did it too. You don't mess with old German women.

Also, I have had my mom just give me extra money when I told her birthday money went to my bills. She'll tsk and say that's no fun and give me more. Not often, but she did.

But see thats the almost thing. We all pay our bills. And we can actually say we paid them. So it is always a form of "god you men are too uptight, take this and do something fun for once". Now does that sound like Phil to you?

Also DSP: "You all give me money so I can continue doing my job, it's a group effort, crowdfunding", he says to convince himself of the special value of those types of money, as a payment, not a gift.
Now this makes hell of a sense right now.

Phil made up this credo of his to justify his desire to constantly be frivolous, not the other way around. Same with his standard protocol of only saving money if he has any left over from spending as much as he wants to. Or yelling at people on Twitter that kids should be allowed to waste their money on crap (just like he did, and still does).

Everything that comes out of Phil's mouth when it comes to how money should be handled is geared towards facilitating his stubborn stupidity with it.

That's different. Plenty of (mostly old) folks place a certain condition on the money they give out to family, it's not uncommon at all, and it's especially different when it makes sense given the context. Like when someone is known for being uptight. One could call it a tiny intervention, in some cases.

Phil never had anyone tell him what to do with the money, and if they did, he went against it if it pleased him. He has been proving to be that type of person for over a decade, and I doubt that he was any different as a child, given the ways in which he still resembles one.
