I can see Pikamee's hussle going well and what she's aiming for. Instead of teaching the numbers and the days in japanese to children in a dirty school while underpaid, she teaches the numbers and days in japanese to manchildren who tip a lot better. Great choice. Hope to see more

I was kind of holding my breath for her merch. I missed out on Miko's limited Autographed goods, being to slow for both Booth and Geekjack but figured as long as I get Watame's I'm set. To hear that she's not doing one and signing everything was huge. Plus after Ina's 200k Yen goods, Roboco's 170k, Luna's 100k for 20cm Acrylic Stand (and I'm someone who loves Luna, but come on) I was a bit worried. But 100k for a blanket, heat-changing mug, and autographed postcard is definitely nice value.

I don't get why there's much ado about Gigguk being Calli's guest. I do follow Trash Taste regularly, but not so much Garnt and Joey (I do follow Connor's streams). What about them makes some people here pissy? As it stands all I'm seeing is something similar to gachikois being up in arms because they collab with a 3d person/a male guest.

The same loud mouth gachikois for sure. They need to “vent” from time to time. Imagine they will be on suicide watch if high profile like FBK or Marine, pay visit to trash taste for fun and giggle.
Parasocial is even more potent drug then actual drugs lol. I remembered Kiara roommate, after her fail idol journey, commented about how most of those “pure cash cow idols” had to sleep their way up while maintaining the image of being pure at the same time for gachikois.

I think alot of these concernedfags about Calli's streams being professional forget a couple of things:

- Calli, or her roommate Karen, is probably not your typical gamer-weeb girl. We can tell by the fact she suuuuuuuuuucks at some games and probably tried to keep the animu stuff at arms length (opting to go with the JP Rap scene). We throw her a mic, tell her go freestyle + go ahead and drop a couple of fuck bombs, I think she'd be in her element.
- Yea, the collab stream with Gura was scuffed as heck. That just so happens to be 1) something Calli needs to learn and 2) a selling point of HoloEN (something about techincal difficulties and curses). Should it have happened? If Calli was 100% a streamer girl.. no. She's a white girl rapper trying to make it in JP, this shit is new to her. I'd cut her some slack. (If it had happened to Ame? I would probably give her shit but she knows how to turn these technical problems into content, insert gremlin noises here please)
- Time zone differences. "Bla bla bla short stream with the shooork waaaah cry cry pissy face" - some cringe autist who follows Calli and more than likely is a Gura simp. The way I see it, Calli's timezone difference with her genmates are now anywhere between 5 (EU) to 16 (West Coast, I'm reaching here) hours different. From what I can gather, Calli's just trying to be considerate about the time and either 1) doesn't want to be up too late or 2) doesn't want to mess up her genmates sleep schedule (not like they have good one + I don't remember what time the collab was)
- Again, time zone differences. To me it makes more sense that if I'm having a collab with someone in the same timezone or relatively close enough, you've met them, probably hang out in the same circle-ish, likely have the same schedule (ie. daytime shit like eat, shit, etc), you would have a longer collab. It just works. It's how you get sometimes super ass long collabs. Because the logistical nightmare of sleep, next day shit, etc just ain't there.
I'd also toss in those gachikois who think their beloved idols (hah, they haven't been an idol company in a long time) shouldn't be collabing with males outside of Holostars (and even then they get their dicks all twisted).

Most of the criticisms I've seen in the comments have been pretty reasonable for the most part. If anything, I've seen a lot more sperging coming from the other camp.

Its pretty clear it reads as people being tired of her giving poorly received streams with people within the company on more than a few occasions, and then one like this where its with someone outside the company and her level of enthusiasm and the quality of the stream in general is much more high. There's not much of a disconnect in viewing that as disrespectful to your coworkers, seniors, and possibly the audience that helped to establish the brand that makes you employed. It might just be me but I don't see the crossover in audience between vtubers and anitubers anyway, that could be a contributing factor. There's petty stuff like "why doesn't she at collab with indies to elevate them rather than collab with someone larger than her" for sure, but there is also this really bizarre level of defensiveness from criticism whenever it involves her or Kiara.
I mean people spamming "collab with X when" comes with territory of being a Youtuber/streamer. I mean have we forgotten how much Coco/Haachama have been spammed about when they'd collaborate with Holo EN next? Or Holo JP Girls being hounded as to why they won't collab with Holostars?
I mean Connor said multiple times during multiple streams that he doesn't think Hololive would let Calli back on Trash Taste again, but didn't elaborate any further.
I mean I didn't really catch her collab with Gura so I can't take a position either way as to what went wrong/what she can do better but here's my 2 cents: she doesn't really have an obligation to collab with anybody within or outside Hololive. Sure it'd be great if she does, but if she and/or the other party is doing it out of obligation as opposed to because they really just enjoy streaming together, then you get disastrous streams.
What I don't get is why there's a strong(-ish) reaction against having her collab with Garnt or the rest of the Trash Taste. They're both friends, if they enjoy streaming together and it produces great content, it's a win-win.

Nah she mostly was not very deep into it, but probably was on the other side of the road because she was very very excited for the TTRPG session and still is, what she lack is streamer experience, she has never do this before and always go with a very (for some reason) optimism for everything even when EN is cursed with technical difficulties
Not the first time and is because Calli ISP shit and died when trying to connect with Gura, the problem is her internet, notice how almost everyone switched ISPs after their debut for that reason, the only one that has not do it yet is Calli
That's her problem, she has terrible time management skills it was bad 8 months ago with her having two jobs and even when she is now between being Dice and Calli she still has not improved in that regard, she is literally a yes man that always get in everything and get burned in the process

Yesterday Utako breaking her back for 4 hours and became semi religious and then Hoshikawa just casually woke up and did the same thing in less than 20 minutes. Hoshikawa got more dick than the og skb member confirmed.
