Ivanka is his successor, he’s said it a number of times. Funny thing is, Trump had absolutely no interest in developing any candidates or future of the party, he only cared about his blow up doll of a daughter and her incompetent yet omnipresent husband. He wanted them to be power brokers but since nobody wants to work with the Trumps and the Kushners, this was by and large a failure. I have no doubt Ivanka will run for office, if only to keep the grift humming along.

The first time I heard of Trump was in Tiny Toons, and a mention in a Gamepro article about Wario Land. Both not in a flattering way.

This is a dumb post. Trump was a household name in the 1980s. He represented gaudy, nouveau riche excess that Reaganauts enjoyed touting. He was pretty much down for the count in the 1990s and saw a resurgence with The Apprentice in the 2000s. He was always a media whore though since the 1970s and I remember lots of meltdowns from losers who liked him in things like Home Alone 2.

Boomers loved Trump because he reminded them of the 1980s. Seeing that bloated orange gas bag reminded them of when they borrowed their dad’s Jeep to get a handy while Bruce Springsteen blared from the radio. Trump was nothing more than a meme President. He was completely incapable of handling anything and was lucky to have three stable years, which he fucked up anyway. 2020 was the first time actual leadership was needed and he flunked that test badly.

TBH it’s just the GOP death spiral in action. They have no viable candidates who can win the presidency, are very unlikely to ever secure a House majority again and is on borrowed time until they too lose their majority that they’ll never regain. So now they’re essentially going to wind down to a regional party. Much like how dinosaurs thrashed around until they died after the meteor, so will the GOP. I think the Qtard Trump worship is another sign of irreversible decline.

I mean Trump was memed into office by a bunch of retards who post on an Asian-owned image board about the ways they masterbated to their 2D girlfriends. And for some reason, the Boomers and Republicans decided to latch on to that and made it so that not only is Trump now a religious spearhead in their eyes, they equate any and all conspiracy theories and doomsday scenarios like alien invasions, the Rapture (whether or not Trump will summon it, or if Trump is Jesus's reincarnation is a source of debate), Illuminati (and whether or not Trump's part of it) and then some.

It amazes me how 2016 just ruined US politics for everyone. The left got more spergy and political on social media, and the right's crazy-ass ideas only got crazier and crazier as time passed on

The Belle’s Smokin' BBQ, which operates its business from inside a food truck, is based in Williamstown, according to The Courier Journal.

Jamie Smith, the owner of the business, told the newspaper that he and his staff had been wearing the shirts for over a year before they began facing backlash over its message this week, after they shared a photo of the shirt in a post on Facebook that has since been deleted.

Smith told the paper that he shared a photo of the shirt on Facebook on Thursday “at about 6, and at about 10 a.m. is when the threatening calls came.”

"Social media went berserk,” he continued.



Many online condemned the shirt's spin on the LGBTQ acronym -- which actually stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning or queer -- as what they viewed to be discriminatory against LGBTQ persons. The business removed the post shortly after and issued an apology to those who were offended by the shirt.

"It wasn't intended to single out any individual," Smith said. "It takes all kinds to make the world go around."

However, according to The Courier Journal, the news hasn’t been all bad for Smith’s business in heat of the backlash.

Since the controversy, his business reportedly lost one customer but gained four more. Smith also said he plans to continue selling the shirts, which he claims are currently sold out.

Americans love their political dynasties. Kennedys, Bushes, Roosevelts, Clintons, Cheneys, Romneys, Cuomos. Hell, the whole country itself was formed by a fuckload of Adams. There's more incestual connections in American politics than the goddamn Habsburgs.

Even Trump knew this, as he tried exceedingly hard to set up Ivanka as his successor in his own makeshift political dynasty and give every member of his extended family some sort of position in the White House way above their pay grade. Learning new names is a lot of work, and it's best just to go with a familiar brand.
