P.S. I'm not afraid of being called racist. I am racist. I am more racist every day. What I don't like is being totally excised from the global economy and all polite society because I don't want to live around non-whites. Being treated like this just reaffirms to me that whites and non-whites cannot coexist, because it is demonstrated to me that we cannot.
It's more than that. I'm not *particularly* racist, but racist jokes are often fun. Because why? Because, as that song from a few years back explained,
everyone's a little bit racist.
Racist jokes wouldn't ever be funny to someone who never has an unpleasant interaction with someone of a different skin color, and immediately calls to mind racist stereotypes. I'd even argue that those stereotypes don't come from nowhere, but that's not relevant. What matters is racism is inherent to our very animal nature. Racist jokes strike a chord with everyone; that's why jokes based on race are as popular as jokes based on sex, food, and family.
However, most people aren't even a little bit interested in raping tiny children. That, indeed, goes against the grain of near-universal instinct to protect children.
Pedo jokes rely entirely on being shocking, without strumming a deep down "well kinda yeah," which is why normal people at most find them amusing the first time they hear them and then never again. They're very similar to "dead baby" jokes. Those were high comedy when I was twelve, but they don't elicit the slightest chuckle from older, more jaded me.
If someone keeps telling pedo jokes past their first brush of "lol how fucked up is THAT," they're a simpleton, a pedophile, or both.
