I think it's probably because, typically, the women are taking the chill hormone (testosterone) while the men are taking the crazy hormone (estrogen). These hormones can completely alter your emotional output for better or for worse.

I don't know that I'd call testosterone chill, especially given the very real physiological alterations that it can bring. A woman isn't going to turn into Buck Angel without some implants and shitload extra-curricular juice, but I don't see any troons fat redistributing or raising octaves on estrogen. Male troons being overtly crazier than female troons has more to do with them being men and all that entails. There are more nuanced studies indicating that testosterone levels in men alone do not correlate to increased or decreased aggression. Even the older studies that solely examined testosterone levels in men and women did not find the a similar level of testosterone and aggression in women that it did in men. There is a evolutionary element and a social element as well based around competition and confrontation that your average woman who wants to cut her tits off is probably not going to have any experience in.
