You are not wrong, but you're looking at this too hard and deep. Removing Coco (or Coco leaving HL) isn't a deadend, it's an opportunity. I see it as futureproofing. Should anyone else feel dissatisfied with the way things are run, or just wanna look for alternatives, they now have a pivot point of a character to rally behind.
Presuming of course, if she wants to do it. I doubt it.

It was how long since debuting that they wanted to create a second gen/holostars EN? All of hololive EN have broken the 1M mark already, just recently Amelia Watson wanted to do a charity stream that got derailed because the goal was hit before she started streaming. EN is by far a greater success.

Everytime these companies try to break into China it sometimes ends up being this useless black hole filled with the worst scum running online.

That's kind of why I have kind of grown tired of Doomposting.
Coco talent that had over 1 million Subs but essentially innovated more than her contemporaries and now she's gone just like that so this can't really be compared to past graduations.

I'm typically one to be optimistic especially here but this feels like a pretty big blow especially considering how much acclaim she got from the West.
In my mind, there's really nothing stopping a potential string of graduations even if that may come off as a bit paranoid

I don't even want to suggest it here, Considering how many people FUCKING hate Kiara.
But shes already doing a great job bridging the gap between JP and EN audiences. It's really sucks that Coco is leaving, but people really don't give Kiara enough credit in that respect.


There is no doubt in my mind that Gen 2 will also have a multi talented weeb type that can do JP collabs.

Narukami's video has no new information in it that hasn't been posted in this thread. He claims that Cover is pushing Coco out by being deliberately incompetent. All the incidents he listed are true but do not imply that Cover is pressuring Coco to leave. He is not an insider and has no unique insight at all, and his narrative contradicts the financial sacrifices that Cover has made to keep Coco. Unless he has actual evidence of shady investors putting pressure on Cover to fire Coco, it's a non-story.

What is clear is that Coco still likes Hololive, has no beef with any members or YAGOO and has made the decision to retire at least a month ago when free chat expiration date was changed. No matter what you think Japanese culture is like, Kiryu Coco does not lie to fans.

Also, regarding the rrat that Cover wants to get back to China. That would be a suicide. Coco is loved by many, and the notion of throwing her under the bus for China would lead to riots both from JPbros and EOPs alike. I would join it if that does happen though, again, if

Her Best friend/roommate/coworker is forced into retirement. She's probably currently crying in Coco's arms. She has to address her living situation cause she will get the boot instantly if Coco makes one sound in the background of her streams.
