I'd honestly like him more if he just admitted he likes drawing sexy girls. It's okay to like drawing sexy girls. I don't trust a guy who likes drawing sexy girls but tries to make excuses for it or tell me why it's actually "empowering." Just be honest.

Looking back through his Tumblr he actually has art I'd never seen before. Stuff that he either removed from his site, or only posted back then. His output was insane compared to what it is now, even if it was just fan art or concepts. Nowadays it's just so slow, and there's nothing going on between releases to show off his art. His Twitter only had one warm up drawing posted inbetween announcements of new pages, and those are months apart. At least in the past he was posting between updates.
This is one of my favorites (archive). A fan asked about his thoughts on BotW because of his fan art about Zelda being Link. He talks about it being coincidence, but you have to wonder.

The other day I was feeling misanthropic and decided to browse /co/ for a laugh. There was a thread about webcomics that were still going in the year of our lord 2021.
I learnt that Diaz has put the Trans in Transhumanism...
From what I can see, Aaron became 'Arryn' September last year. Perhaps this is a way for Diaz to enact revenge on Mary Cagle?
Diaz didn't get the memo about the whole dead naming thing, as both the Dresden Codak website and Patreon still use 'Aaron' and numale pronouns.
The Patreon rakes in $4,141 a month, which is pretty decent, I guess. I have no idea how much rent is in Portland?
But enough about that, surely Diaz has done more work on Dresden Codak since 2019? Good art is made through adversity, and 2020 was a pretty rough year...So what happens when an artist is stuck inside for a year with nothing else to do? You get...11 pages.
I know painted comics are hard, but come on! Diaz can draw in a more traditional comic book style that's most likely faster to pump out. Though, to be fair, it looks like there is a lot of exclusive art on the Patreon.
Also, it seems like Kimiko is no longer based on Korra, but is now the love child of Major Kusanagi and Duke Togo.
Welp, with the way this thread moves, the next update on this cow won't be for another two years. Maybe we'll get 13 comic pages by then (and Kimiko will look like Ryuko from Kill La Kill)!
