An artist of any medium genuinely threatened by machines outright replacing them isn't truly an artist. The lack of belief in themselves, their work, and its worth speaks volumes.

Oh dear. It would be a shame if I tripped and fell over my keyboard, and typed "Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger doing science magic in the style of Dresden Codak" into the AI art machine.



Frankly, I don't know what's more insulting: the fact that it can create art in a particular artist's style, or the fact that he isn't notable enough for Midjourney to imitate his style.

Well, I guess it's fitting considering the only reason I even knew about this guy to begin with is because of him tearing down the work of other artists.

Finding out he trooned out after another artist called him out on fetishizing the very idea of the female form isn't surprising in the slightest, but I do find it disturbing that every dude with an obsession with Ashly Burch tends to go either this route or "rapist" after their Male Feminist phase.
